AEG L5R The Currency of War Learn to Play See Card Game

This is a great value. If you're interested in getting into The Legend of the Five Rings, this is a cost-effective way to go. Normally, you would have to spend close to $50 on a couple starter decks to get started. I got this for $16 and it comes with two decks and a nice, big rule book. Then you can download the official rule books from L5R online to get into the regular game.

Amazing little starter set. Clear instructions. I had hoped the decks came with a box of some sort for future protection but they didn't. It is amazing value. I got this box set to help introduce to of my students to the game. They loved it from the get go.

Coming as an almost competent player of MTG, getting started with L5R was more than a little rough for me. I was recommended this starter set by a few friends who were die hard L5R players. The game comes with two clan decks, Mantis and Crane. All of the cards are numbered, and the instructions include a guided tutorial for you and your opponent, which covers all the basics as well as two of the more difficult mechanics: Naval and Dueling.It's the perfect way, in my opinion, to get a solid grasp on the L5R basics, and I highly recommend it to those who want to get into L5R and are looking for a good way to get started.

Box was slightly damaged on the edges but nothing bad, nice setup box and cool game
