I really like the size and design of this basket...including the 2 side facing handles which are nicely placed.There is no problem with the construction but the wicker is small and the basket is not for heavy duty use. There is also very little weather proofing so we bought a can on spray gloss outdoor poly/varnish to hopefully make it last longer on an outdoors stored bike. We got the dark honey color and do like it very much. There are much more ruggedly built baskets out there but they also cost a lot more. Still... this one will be fine for most things and is way less that 1/2 the price of the top of the line baskets. We're just going to enjoy our bargain for as long as it serves! It looks great on the handlebars!!

I have an older looking bike that has been remodeled to work just like new. I wanted to keep the original charm of the bike though, and this basket has been a perfect addition! It weas easy to attach, and has been able to hold a fair amount of things.

This basket is sturdy. I was able to load it up with 24 pounds. While it creaked, it didn't break. It did feel like it was about at its limit. It definitely won't have issues with a few groceries or handful of other items you need to transport.Unfortunately, this basket did not work with our e-bike, which was the intended purpose. The cables running from the handlebar are the primary issue with using this basket with our e-bike. It fits fine on our other bikes. I feel it would be more accommodating with straps that are a little longer. I imagine they don't want the basket swinging around which is why the straps are short. Be aware that this basket likely won't fit you e-bike if that is what you are looking for.The basket looks very nice but does have some sharp edges where the wicker ends that you have to watch out for. The basket itself looks very nice.
