I have used Topeak trunk bags for years. This being the 5th I've bought and the 4th one with the mtx system.Slide onto a suitable pannier rack, and it locks in place with no chance of moving, never mind falling off.They are fitted to 4 of the families' bikes, and I gave one to my eldest son when I gave him one of my bikes.Depending on model they hold enough kit for a long day ride including rain jacket, food and spares. They also come with a shoulder strap so you can carry it easily when off the bike, should you need to.Highly recommended from me. Things are only expensive if they aren't suitable for their intended purpose. These bags are very suitable.

Used in European touring, easy to mount on topeak rack. No faffing around with straps, great quality bag and zips

I love this
This is a great bag with so much space and enables me to ditch the rucksack on my commute so I'm cooler on the bike during the hotter summer months although it would be better if it was waterproof rather than having to use the hideous looking cover which I won't be buying as it looks like too much faffing around and I'll probably go back to using a rucksack during the winter. It loses a star because it rattles like made due to the loose fit on the rack which was driving me mad so I fixed it by putting the piece of card that came with the rack underneath it which has pretty much solved the issue. I'd recommend this to anyone as you could use it year round so long as you don't mind the cover that you have to buy separately which I think should be included considering how much you have to pay for it but still regardless of this I think it's a great bag and I'm glad I brought it.

A 'propper' bag for your bike
Great offer on this via French store, took an age to arrive but very pleased when it did. This is the version without panniers, which is fine for my use. This bag expands at the top and I can fit a lot of things in it. Very pleased.

sturdy
It's smaller than my previous top-box, which was part of a very good Ibera kit comprising two panniers and a clip-on rack.But that kit doesn't fit my new e-bike, so I've had to find the best compromise solution. This one and its associated bracket work almost as well; except that I've had to use cheaper (not so good) panniers with it.
