YY Plasfun Vertical Safety Glasses

These glasses are just what we were looking for. Approaching 50 years old you have to look after yourself a little more carefully than in your thirties. My husband belayed our kids on the 50 foot column at Ratho - his neck was never the same since! Our local wall is 25 feet high, but after belaying someone several times it can still cause neck ache. We hope to continue climbing as long as we can, and these glasses may help us do that.I like the crisp clarity of the image. I like the fact that it is possible to see around the prisms so that there is still a sense of where you are and who is nearby on the ground. In fact it is possible to watch the climber start from the ground by watching around the image, then starting to use the image of the climber in the prisms as they get higher.I also like the case they come in. It can be clipped to a harness so it is easy to stow the glasses away when dealing with belay plates, etc. then pop them on when needed. The case can be closed temporarily with one hand with a velcro tab, but it can be closed securely also with a zip once you're finished climbing.Excellent product - and a reasonable price too.

Was a bit doubtful about wearing these but they have turned out to be a great buy, especially on steep sports crags. They prevent you getting a creaky neck as a belayer looking up the crag and fit easily and do what they say!

Excellent product! easy to use and gives sufficient peripheral vision so you can check the rope pile and adjacent climbers.

These work really well and save your neck when belaying. Took a few minutes to get used to but great after one session.

comfortable, easy to use - do exactly what they are supposed to - my neck is so much better since i started using them!!!

Brilliant idea, use them for window cleaning and can feel less tension in May neck.

My Son is an indoor climber and these are perfect for belaying.
