Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Wood, Expansion Track Pack

Pros: I don't really understand the bad reviews for the new tracks. Every wooden railway system would be better off if they switched to this new system. As they say on the box, there's no wrong way to build. Which is true. The tracks in the old style went in only one way. The new tracks fit in any way at all. You also don't get punished for building in weird ways because you can. The moving points won't break, as you might worry. In fact, the entire thing is very sturdy. Plenty of great expansion pieces. You can get free adaptors (in addition to the included set of them) for the new style to old style by calling Fisher-Price.Cons: If a switch is built to make a left turn, it won't make a right if you put in backwards, like the old style. While the points aren't effective, they are really fun.

My 7 year old kiddo is autistic and he is obsessed with Thomas the train. We used to have all of the old tracks, but this Christmas decided to switch over to the new ones - and I am so glad we did!The play value in the new play sets and tracks is amazing! Super easy to connect, and the quality is there. The switches are a must for any Thomas conductor, and the amount you get in this set is amazing.He loves this set to go along with the others he received for Christmas. Will probably purchase another set to add length to his play sets.

I bought this set to round out our purchase of the new figure 8 Thomas set. I'm happy with the quality of this track, it's nice and sturdy compared to the cheaper standard wood tracks I've seen. I actually like the new connectors, though I wouldn't try to mix it with other brands of track, even with the included adaptors. But at the current price, you can stock up on this style and have plenty to go around.

My two grandsons loved getting this to expand their Thomas and Friends wooden tracks. It completely attaches to our tracks. They have plenty of tracks now to make figure 8s, circles as well as many more.

We love Thomas and wanted to buy the new track system. This is a great way to add on to your large tracks.

My 5 yr old loves this set. The only issue is it isn't compatible with our other "standard" tracks.They do provide 2 adapters that connect this set with the other set, but they are often buried in the toy box and so he doesn't like to use the "new tracks" as often.

My son loves these. They are very easy to put together. Amd the quality is great

We bought this on sale - under $20 to add to our new Thomas & Friends track set. We love it.

Nos gustó mucho el paquete todas las piezas vienen como esperábamos, pero la gran desilusión fue que las locomotoras del Trackmaster no son compatibles. Principalmente las curvas y los cambios de vía tienen mucha separación entre las o son muy estrechos y por ambas cosas se descarrilan.Ahora ya sabemos.Ojalá le sirva esto a alguien más.

新古品で安く購入出来たのでありがたかったです。レールが増えてくると、どうしても分岐するパーツが欲しくなるようです。喜んでコースを作っています。ブリオ等と連結できるパーツも入っていますが、基本的にはトーマスシリーズの新しいタイプのレールとしか繋げられないのでご注意を。商品は高価なだけあってキレイで丈夫です。ただ、普通の新品だと高い、という思いもあって星一つ下げます。

過去の木製トーマスのレールと繋げられず、全て新しいものにしないといけません。故に製品購入しましたが、或る程度、過去の木製レールを揃えていた我が家では、遊ばずにいました。結局、新規に木製トーマスを遊び始めた子供のお友達に本製品は譲渡してしまいました。
