Fascinating and compelling
I absolutely concur with the previous reviewer. I bought the book after simply reading that some foods count as superfoods, and had no idea until reading the book what a sensible, interesting and easy way it is to eat. All the superfoods identified are enjoyable and accessible - even soya beans which I've used to create my own Superfood Stew! Why eat rubbish when you can eat Superfoods! The book itself is written very accessibly and it kept me as entertained reading on the bus as any novel.

Truly Life Changing
I ordered this book after reading the GI diet, which mentioned certain foods were "superfoods". This title intrigued me to know more. The book is really about "Healthly Eating" However, it is so easy to eat the superfood way, that once you start and notice the benefits, you will not want to go back to your old ways of eating. Through eating this way, the main benefits I have found are;Huge amounts of energy and vitality, even at the end of a long days work, clearer thinking, better skin and a leaner body. The results are evident within a week, but within three weeks you feel fantastic.I can not reccomend this book enough to anyone who struggles to find the energy to make it to the end of each working day. Or who simply wants to improve their health. The book is easy to read and very informative. The book is certainly not a gimmick diet book, it really is life changing.

Common Sense...
To say this book is 'truly life changing' would be an exaggeration - unless you are eating Spam Fritters and chips on a daily basis. Essentially this book is just plain old common sense. There's nothing revolutionary here. The author extols the virtues of 'whole foods' (i.e. unprocessed foods). It's the classic high fibre, low fat, lot's of green vegatables, nut & seeds etc.etc. diet... No doubt if you follow this advice you will be healthier. And it's certainly worthwhile reading if only to have the nutritional value of some key foods spelt out to you. Like I say, it's just common sense really.

Nothing New!
I read a few chapters of this book and then lost interest.I have just done a radical change to my diet from being a total junk food junkie to cutting out salt, sugar, caffeine and basically reducing any food that is not natural, all in one fell swoop, so I was hoping this book would give more information. My diet is already packed with superfoods so the book didn't really have the information that I was looking for. There seems to be alot of books like this out there, but almost no books to inform readers what to expect when they change their diet as I did.As I am discovering the body reacts in strange and wonderful ways as it goes about it's job of cleaning house and retracing, more information on that would have been more useful that harping on about the 14 best foods to eat, which quite frankly as another reviewer said, is just plain common sense.

Eat Your fruit!
Superfoods will take the reader on an jourany of healthly fruits, herbs, veggs to improve your health and well being. For those meat eaters this may be an eye opner for you , but mum was right- eat your greens and you will feel better.Recommend for those trying to change thier eating habits and want to improve thier lifestlyes. Also recommend "The Backsmart Fitness Plan" by Dr.Adam Weiss- truly a very effective use of your time trying to get into shape. Enjoyed them both and highly recommend them to all ages.
