So this review is for an HDMI and USB extender over ethernet. I have numerous systems in our basement and I do most of my work on the third floor. For most of my systems I can access via remote desktop, but there's always one or two that won't play nice with with VNC/RDP or any other remote protocol. That's where this product comes in. It allows me to access one of those systems (HDMI + keyboard/mouse) extended from the basement to the third floor via already existing and unused ethernet cable. Picture is great and there is no lag with the keyboard/mouse. The max distance is something like 150 meters which is quite a bit farther than I need. In short this product is just as advertised, and it gets my highest recommendation.

I've got it running on about 200 feet of Cat5, through walls and across the rafters in the ceiling. No problems.
