Exceeded Expectations
I've been looking for a good gaming keyboard for a while. I don't necessarily use it for gaming a lot, because I play with a controller mostly, but I do sometimes. My previous keyboard came with my prebuilt PC and I've been looking to upgrade my keyboard for a little while now. I've ordered 2 different keyboards, read reviews on several different keyboards trying to find one that would suit my needs. My needs being: clicky or tactical switches, multimedia control, custom keybinding through product software, and looks cool (in that order of importance). This keyboard checked all of those boxes. I was a bit hesitant to buy this keyboard for several reasons, but mainly because it was "renewed". I usually don't buy used or refurbished items, and if I do, it's like new and unopened. So, naturally, I read the reviews that other people wrote on this product and I went straight for the 1-3 star reviews. A common theme amongst the poor rated reviews was that the product had missing keys, sticky/dirty keys, and didn't function with the Logitech G-Hub (software)Now, the actual product review. This has exceeded all my expectations. After reading the reviews, I pretty much told myself it's a 50/50 shot I'll be satisfied with this keyboard, but what the hell, I'll just return it and get my money back since amazon returns are super simple and easy. The keyboard I got was in perfect condition. I honestly can't see one blemish, scratch, or any sign of wear and tear. All the keys work perfectly and it works with G-Hub, allowing me to customize the keyboard far beyond my current needs.I would definitely recommend this keyboard. It is a $250 keyboard brand new, and $80 seems like a steal. The only thing that was "questionable" or whatever word you want to use, is that the box it came in was opened and a little beat up. Other than that though, everything is perfect. Even came with the user manual and a sticker.

Why buy this thing for full price?? The refurbished version is perfect!
Was a little skeptical, because paying $80 for a $250 keyboard seems like you’re gonna get some scratched defective product right? But no! This thing is immaculate, and perfect as far as I am concerned. Everything works great and looks great. I got the tactile and it feels great. The only minor defect I noticed is that the keyboard is slightly bowed in the middle. But I don’t notice at all, you can only tell if you hold it up like a piece of lumber. Doesn’t affect typing and It’s very minor.

Outstanding
It is crazy to think that this is a used item, the keyboard looks and functions like new! I tried to find flaws that maybe the previous owner may have left behind but I could not. For something that cost 250 NEW, this is worth every damn penny USED. The build quality is incredible and I can see why they charge so damn much for a regular keyboard.I recommend everyone tries this before they buy it new!

Good keyboard
Performs exactly the same as the unopened new keyboard Logitech has on offer. The only difference with the renewed version is that it doesn't come with the original packaging. $70 off in exchange for not having an original box seems a pretty good deal considering that it looks brand new and functions the same.

Nice but weird
So, I bought this because it's relatively thin when compared to other mechanical keyboards. I did a lot of research on different keyboards and ended up going with this one as it got a bunch of good reviews, and it was cheaper than other comparable thin mechanical keyboards. Logitech is relatively eco-friendly which is nice too.Now having said all that, I do have some issues with it. The biggest one is that the alternate function for keys (SHIFT + [KEY]) aren't lit up. For instance, the exclamation point (!) under the 1 isn't lit up, but the 1 itself is. I think that should really be fixed. Now onto the lesser complaints I have. The layout itself is just kind of weird, especially for gaming. There is a column of keys on the left side of the keyboard that are programmable. These keys confuse me quite often, because when I'm gaming, I'll go to press the CTRL key, which on most keyboards is the bottom most left key on the board, but I'll end up hitting these programmable keys instead. Now it's not too bad because you can just program those keys to have the same function as the CTRL key as well. However, my hand placement will still be off because I'll be thinking that my pinky is touching the CTRL key and that the rest of my fingers will be resting on WASD as usual, but I'll actually be touching different keys than expected on the rest of my hand. The software to program the keys and colors was a little confusing, but not too bad once you get the hang of it. There's also another set of keys (pretty sure programmable) in a row on top above the F keys, which might be useful to some. Another minor weird thing though, and maybe this was just my old keyboard but the num lock light I thought was originally first in the line of lights, while caps lock was second. Well, it's swapped on this keyboard. I know, minor thing but it confused me a little bit. The lights themselves are also kind weirdly located but whatever.

Software is totally unstable. Messes your system.
I have not been able to program the keys consistently. The software constantly gets corrupted and messes up with the system. Logitech is not helping at ll, their support even suggested an old version of the software as more current. The keyboard is also not responding as expected. Looking for something better. Logitech is disappointing.

Super chilo!

Exactly as described.
Recieved a like-new G815 with the clicky switches. Keyboard looks and feels brand new. Was going to buy this at a local store but decided to check refurbished as it's a very expensive board. Saved me $100, very pleased.

After a couple of months I still love this keyboard.
Feels very solid, it's heavy and never sides around when typing. Worth every penny.

Well constructed and satisfying to use
I'm "upgrading" from a G910 that finally bit the dust, as it's Romer-G switches eventually deteriorate and cause double typing). It's my understanding that the low profile GL switches used should have a longer lifespan, and so far they have provided a much smoother and pleasant typing experience than my G910 did. I normally go for tactile switches, as they provide an experience between clicky and linear, but I'm enjoying these clicky switches and have not noticed any perceivable loss of performance for gaming. That being said, when it comes to the gaming experience, one thing I value in particular is having programmable keys to assign macros and in-game functions to, especially in MMORPG's where the hotbars can easily expand beyond the number row keys. The G910 was perfect for this, having a total of 9 programmable keys, 5 along the left side, and 4 along the top. The G815 has only the 5 keys along the left side of the board, which meant that for my particular use case I am now required to own a secondary macro keypad with some additional buttons to supplement the lack of programmable keys on this keyboard. Luckily, the keyboard does also feature USB pass-through, which makes connecting my secondary macro keypad quite simple.
