Great but not reusable
This product is great for its intended use. Its very impressive and catches so many flies. However, there is no way I am reusing any of the containers. In order to reuse it, you have to open the container full of flies and dump the contents into a trash bag. The smell emanating from the container is beyond putrid and there is no way I can stand there long enough to open the container and empty the contents into a trash bag. The outside of the container is also so disgusting. If you can stomach dumping the contents, you will need to use gloves to open that container because the outside will be full of fly poop.

AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE
This is the MOST EFFECTIVE fly trap I have ever used. Yes it is very stinky but the smell stays localized to the trap. I have repurchased a couple of times because I cannot bring myself to reuse the traps BUT I have eliminated tens of thousands of flies since the start of summer. I hang the trap near my trash barrel about twenty yards from my patio and have not been bothered by a single fly while eating outside or just lounging. Would highly recommend this product for anyone who even sees a fly "in the vicinity". Very pleased with the results.

Works well but smell is horrendous
These work very well! They catch all the flies but in order to do so they attract the flies with a horrendous smell. We would be sitting outside and get a whiff of them when it’s breezy and it makes your stomach churn!

Works great!
Works perfectly. Doesn't have the flies racing to it from 3 counties like the competitor, but the flies eventually found it and a day later, the fly problem has been 90% abated. So really, no complaints. I was hoping for the drama of the green competitor's traps but nah. Don't know what those green ones use, but the flies will shove you out of the way to get to it. For this one, the flies wait politely for you to move. End result is the same so I'm happy.Pro-tip: dump & replace every few days, **even if the traps are hardly full**, so the traps don't get that dead animal smell. These things will reek because of dead flies, not because of the attractant. You will also get maggots if you let it sit more than a few days, regardless of how many flies have checked in. That's silly because now you're just making more flies. Here's how I empty these traps: I half-fill an old bucket with water and a lot of dish soap, like I'm going to wash the car. I empty the traps into the soapy water---I pour it slowly so the whole mess sinks beneath the suds. This nullifies the intense odor, and kills any flies still alive. I then dump the bucket in the sewer grate in the gutter in front of my house.Do not dump the traps into a garbage bag to put in the trash. Two summers ago we did that. Even triple-bagged the fly remains. Bad bad bad. Three house-lengths of alley behind us where the cans sit smelled like hot rotting corpse for days until garbage pickup. If you do not think a small jar or two of dead flies could smell like some fool dumped a deer carcass in your garbage, go with God and learn things. Otherwise, bucket--soap--sewer grate (or just straight to the sewer grate if you're wild like that) is the way to go.

Worth every penny!
Our neighbor recently fertilized their back yard resulting in a 10x increase in fly traffic at our house. Frustrated having to use the fly swatter 3-5x per day I ordered this product a little over a week ago. Product instructions were very easy to follow, took < 2 min to get the first one setup. Started with 1 and could not believe the results. Flys were immediately attracted to the scent and within the first 2 days there were at least 20-30 dead flies. I decided to add the last 2 a few days later and have seen > 100 (probably even more) dead flies just in a week's time. During the day, at any given point you'll see 4-7 flies inside the jar moving around then eventually die. We have 1 near the rear slider and 2 more away from the door. Number of flies getting into the house has dropped 90%. Very effective product, highly recommend. Ordering more refills this week!

Fly baiting cups
Works great I’ve caught so many flies hundreds. For some reason I have so many flies I feed stray cats and food attracts so many flies for some reason? It does stink though and if you need to strain the flies to make room to catch more before the months time it is a very messy job though. Dumping it every month is kinda gross too there be maggots and hundreds of flies. I dump it in a bucket and flush it in toilet.

This Company Stands Behind Their Products
They work wonders!! The smell is not as bad as others. We never smell it but those pesky flies do and they seal their fate when they fly in to the trap. There is no escape. We are fixing to dump the first one and it must have 500 flies in it! We put them out the day they were received. One we had to hang to keep the top open. We contacted Bug Bane directly about the issue. Told them we only need an extra top that would stay open. They got all of our info and sent us two more complete traps. Now that is awesome customer service. We truly thank you! We will be repeat customers. As soon as we empty the full one, we will reuse that trap, add one more pouch, water and we'll be ready to go again. There is no assembly required really. Unscrew the top, put the chain on (if necessary), place a bag of the stuff in, fill with warm water and hang! After hanging, go back in 15 minutes and see what you've caught.Pictured: One we didn't hang and the racoon knocked it over but look at those flies! The second pic is one of the new ones we received.Thank you Bug Bane!

caught a ton of disgusting flies!
These work great but they take a day or two to attract the nasty flies but once it does you will catch hundreds if not thousands. These do stink bad so just keep them away from any place you would sit or be near for to long . I would buy again :)
