I do not own a firearm, however I do own an air replica which has realistic cartridges upon which you load pellets. The cartridges are the exact size as the real thing so they fit perfectly within this speed strip. It doesn't increase the loading that much as you still need to bring each cartridge to its chamber one by one however it does keep the cartridges neatly stowed ready for loading. You do not need to orientate the cartridges as they are already held the right way up so it does facilitate the process somewhat. It is nice to have 4 pieces as well as this allows me to keep all my shells stored neatly in its case.
