Nice scent
Item reviewed: Modelli Compostable Natural Lavender Moth Repellent Drawer Fresheners, 4 PackThese small sachets deliver a pleasant scent of lavender, which is natural and not too pungent. You’ll notice it when you first open the drawer and your clothes smell fresh, but it is a muted, inoffensive scent. In the month that I have been testing these out, I have not seen any evidence of moths in the drawers I’ve used them in.

Pleasant lavender scent
These drawer fresheners have a very pleasant and definitely not overwhelming scent, I have put one in my underwear drawer and the waft of lavender drifts up when I open it. I have no idea whether or not they would be effective in repelling moths as I don't actually have any but, I am sure, they would definitely be worth as try. The 4 sachets should last some considerable time as they are advertised as lasting 3 months and come in individual well sealed bags. The only thing I can suggest to the manufacturer is that, if the sachets had a hanging loop attached they would be very effective hanging in a wardrobe.

Smells lovely, but fades quite quickly.
You definitely need this type of product in your wardrobe. It smells nice, not overpowering, but nice. Sadly, unless you keep one sachet in a drawer, everywhere else it fades away way too quickly. It's not that it doesn't have a scent anymore, you won't be able to smell it unless you're a foot away from it.I've kept one in the wardrobe and that one is not noticable at all anymore whilst the one in the drawer still has some scent in it after few days.If you don't like your clothes smell like lavender I suggest you don't put it in your drawer, but instead on the shelf in your wardobe as that does have a bit more air circulation going.Yes, you can recycle these or compost them, but I don't exactly look out for these things as preference in buying a product like this one. That said, many will, so I guess it's a good thing. Not much better if at all than cheaper versions bought locally in stores, made pretty much the same way with natural ingredients.

Pleasantly scented, not overpowering
The box contains four sachets of dried lavender flower heads that are easy to pop into a drawer. Each sachet is around 85mm square and they are individually wrapped in a sealed plastic bag. There is no hint of the fragrance until they are taken out of the plastic bag when you notice the lavender smell. Although the smell is noticeable it is not strong or overpowering and when they are placed in a drawer they impart this fragrance to the clothes and space inside the drawer. As I have many items of clothing made from wool, or wool blends, I find I have to keep on top of clothes moths but I don't like using artificial chemicals or things with too strong a scent and I find these to meet those needs. Whilst they won't kill or remove moths from clothing they will deter them and so should be part of a general routine to keep them at bay.I also like that the paper bags are attractive, being a lavender coloured and printed with a design of lavender flower heads. You can tell from the feel and weight of the sachets that they are of a compostable material, sort of like a heavyweight tea bag type material, which is a nice bonus. Recommended.

Nice, natural lavender sachets to help keep moths away
This is a box of 4 sachets in cellophane wrappers. When you unwrap them the scent is strong but not overpowering. Lavender does not kill moths or keep them totally away but confuses them and helps protect your clothing. These are said to last about 3 months. They are very good to have in cupboards and drawers but are not complete moth protection. They help a lot. They also refresh the space and I find them very nice to use and have.I do have to use chemicals ,too as we have so many moths .. but lavender definately helps a lot.
