I decided to use these in my outdoor plants for the hot summer months. The directions were easy to follow and the crystals were easy to measure. They functioned as the description said they would. In the past I would have to water a second time in the middle of the day to prevent wilting and I didn't have to do that to the plants I used these in. The plants remained healthier than usual. They started working immediately. I will continue to use these and will be adding them to my houseplants when I repot them. These are a great value for the money. You get instant gratification with the speedy way they begin to work.

This is a large bag of root powder with added stimulants to it for an extra boost for your plants. Mixing it is straightforward although an extra step compared to other rooting hormones. I am able to do tons of cuttings with this, and I like how it sticks to the stem vs just the powder.

Does good work for mitigating transplant shock mostly. I still use a rooting hormone for cuttings, not this, but this is good for plants with established root systems being transplanted from place to place, especially in warmer seasons.Helps stimulate root growth, fast, and helps plants get established more quickly. Great for seasonal veg, since there is a short production season on all of those, and if they are spreading roots SLOWLY they aren't generating flowers and fruit. Also good for those annual flowers that get transplanted in the spring/early summer and helps them bloom faster for the same reason that seasonal veg will produce fruit slowly.Best combined with an appropriate fertilizer and micromineral/vitamin supplement for further transplant shock mitigation. I like Vitamin B with microminerals like chelated iron and zinc, plus either an all-purpose 3-3-3 or 4-4-4, OR a fertilizer designed for that specific plant family (like an acidic fertilizer for berries, hydrangeas, camellias etc; or a more neutral one for vegetables).

The media could not be loaded.  I thought I would give these MightySorb Crystals a try this year in planting some of my outdoor annual pots. I’m really impressed with the results. The crystals seem to hold the moisture in the soil much longer than pots, where I did not use it. The crystals work by absorbing the water and fertilizer and slowly releasing it to the root zone of your plants. Application is as simple as mixing the specified amount in your potting soil near the root zone and planting your plants.

Every year I grow my own basil plants so we can make pesto. I used to grow from seed but in the last few years found that I can buy some live plants from the grocery store instead which look like a single plant in a small platic container but are actually many little plants just clustered together. So If I buy one, I can split those up into many and plant them separately which works much more nicely and with less effort than growing from seed.The problem is about half of them tend to die when their roots are damaged through the separation and re-planting process. I've never used root stimulator before, but thought this might give them a better chance. It seemed to work! Now I have (roughly) a 75% survival rate instead of 50%. I'm going to try this on some household plant cuttings and other projects to see how it goes.

It seems like this company has put a ton of research into this product, which is impressive! Reading up on all the benefits of this plant food has been fascinating, I had no idea that feeding plants could get this complex. Super easy to use too.

It's pricey but well worth the cost when transplanting an expensive nursery tree. It makes for a whole lot less transplant shock and helps the plant adjust more easily to it's new environment. Doesn't take much prep and gets the job done.
