This combination sewing / embroidery machine is a pleasure to use. No regrets. As a retired Home Economist, I researched makes and models to replace my well used sewing machine. I am very happy with my choice. Sewing is trouble free and has improved my skills with new options. Embroidery is new to me and has been a smooth learning process with very acceptable first results. This machine is smarter than I am! It leads me through each process. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve waited a long time to upgrade. Worth the wait.

Love the features of the sewing and embroidery machine. The only issue I had was starting to sew...you have to touch the screen to make it work and I had no clue. Seems easy after that.

The se2000 appeared to be excellent until I began to use the full functionality. Then a major item failed - the needle plate warped causing damage to the major components. After contacting Amazon I was assured that the vendor had been called and the Amazon customer service rep assured me that the vendor would contact me not later than Tuesday and arrange to replace the machine. When I questioned what would be replaced I was told the entire unit. This has since been denied - I suggest someone review the tape recording of the call, I don't like being called a liar.Now I was told that as I had purchased an Assurian policy that they would take care of the problem, when I called them I was told that, no Assurian was not responsible, their policy covered after the 1st year of the manufacturers warrenty, that I needed to contact the manufacturer. Then I contacted Brother who referred me to a local shop to see about bringing the machine in for repair (a long drive). The amazon rep should know what the process was (or should check before misleading the customer (is a $1400 device).In addition, Amazon sells a replacement part for the failed part with a large warning that this part was frequently returned due to poor manufacturing and frequent failure.
