A runners shoe story.I used to be an Altra Escalante girl w Curex insoles until a foot injury. (The Altra Escalante is super light weight w a wide toe box … I’ve had the black toe before….and I’ve always hated a heavy shoe.) After weeks of Physical Therapy, my PT suggested more cushion and stability.I moved on to the Brooks Glycerin GTS 20. This shoe blew my mind! It checked all the boxes & I no longer needed the Curex inserts. I did however; have to buy toe re-enforcers as I quickly put a hole in my shoe. I went thru a pair, bought the same pair directly from Brooks in different color as replacements and for whatever reason the fit and feel was gone! I was baffled. So I moved on.I did alot of research trying to find the next shoe. This shoe the New Balance 1080 was sold out everywhere so I did the Amazon try before you buy. The comfort is unmatched, the ride is amazing. It’s like running on clouds. I know they say foam shoes don’t last but the way this feels… I would gladly shell out the money for this fit and comfort. Only down side is the laces are super cheap.Notes. I wear a 6.5 wide. That’s half a size up and despite the fleet feet guy telling me to go to a 7, I always lose the support in a 7 and feel like most of my foot is swimming in the shoe.I do plan on buy new laces and toe reinforcers just in case.I run a 5k every other day on average. Mostly pavement and sidewalks. Midsole strike w a little pronation & 1 arch is higher than the other.I do wear Feetures or OOFOS socks. Expensive but have a lifetime guarantee. Your feet will thank you.

I love to walk 4-5 miles. Due to plantar fasciitis and arthritis at the base of my toes I had to stop walking for a month. I did have cortisone shots which relieved my pain I didn’t trust my old walking shoes. These New Balance running shoes solved my problems. I’m now back to walking. The wide toe box gives my toes wiggle room and the firm heel cup gives me the support I need. I did use my Sweet Feet inserts to give me more arch support. I’m in love with these shoes! That being said, I did have a problem with sizing. I purchased my regular size 8.5 and they were much too tight. I then ordered size 9 which still felt a big tight so I then ordered a 9 wide. Which was too big. I worn the size 9’s around the house for a few days and finally settled on the size 9. The original size 8.5 came directly from Amazon so no problem returning. The size 9 wide was a third party seller. Free return on both but the third party seller’s had to be returned to UPS which is more involved with packaging. They are pricey but so worth it for me! Don’t hesitate to purchase. They changed my life

Let me tell you that I am hard to fit, have a wide foot with a high arch and multiple foot issues including recent Achilles surgery and plantar fasciitis. I’ve tried on and owned an obscene amount of shoes and can never find anything that doesn’t flare up my fasciitis after even a gentle short walk. I wore these to the airport and had an extremely tight connection between flights. I’m amazed to say that I had no pain in the arches, soles or heels of my feet after that crazy speed walk! The cushioning is seriously next level. I feel like I’m walking on bouncy clouds. I wore these all day every day for a week long vacation almost right out of the box with no blisters or break in needed. They fit me in my normal size of 9.5 wide. The little tab at the back of the heel is so cushioned that it feels just great with zero rubbing and no hard edges. There’s no doubt in my mind I’ll be buying these on repeat when they finally wear out. Like I said, I’ve tried them all including Hokas and I will swear by these til the day I die. The color is gorgeous and goes with everything. They do show dirt easily, but that’s to be expected when you buy a light colored shoe. These are super super light too.

My feet hurt all the time & I have bunions. The toe box is wide enuf to keep the pressure off my bunion & I can wear these when all other shoes hurt! Well balanced shoe.

Show fits great and is very comfortable. The foam cushion support is on point. I’m a size 8-8 1/2 and I ordered the 8 1/2, plenty of toe room. I took a one star away because one of my shoes arrived with a small stain on the front, for the money and the fact it’s supposed to be a new product, it should be in perfect condition in my opinion.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and find these shoes SOOOO comfortable. It's like walking on air. Highly recommend, and love the darker colors available with the newest model.

The cushion in these shoes is fantastic! I have a difficult time being comfortable in any other shoe. I'm on my feet and walking all day. These shoes are comfortable, fit well and offer the support I need.

If you need more plush feeling when you step on the ground you have the right sneaker! If you like to walk in the mall or go to the gym do the elliptical you have the right sneaker. If you are just taking you grandchild for a walk or just walking with your husband or loved one this is your sneaker! Great support, great fit, lasts a long time! If you like wearing a heavier sock wear a half size up! I sprayed mine with a scotch guard spray to repel dirt so if I went on rail trails in rain I was staying dry! I have two pairs and love them! Arch support is great!

Son suuuuper suaves, es como caminar en nubes, si te tropiezas mucho o si los usas para correr pueden ser algo inestables ya que son demasiado suaves, en mi opinión son más para una caminata larga o para trotar
