Before buying, I noted the many other reviews that mentioned the terrible container this tooth powder comes in, but thought that maybe those people were being too nitpicky or had unrealistic expectations, etc. But no, they were all spot on... this is some of the absolute worst packaging ever, and the makers of this product should be ashamed of themselves for continuing to sell their product in these crap containers. Even though it is supposed to be a screw top, I had to pry it open with a screwdriver the very first time, and am unable to reseal the container completely or would be forced to pry it open again. As to the product itself, I love it.... but can only give 2 starts because based on the packaging alone I'm not sure I'll purchase this product again... it really is THAT bad!

Wasn't sure at first. I thought it might be too abrasive for my crowns, but now my teeth just don't seem clean without Frau Fowler. I love the cinnamon flavor and the tin can. Something definitely magical about this "toothpaste." I ditched tradition toothpastes years ago and have since been using oils and remineralizing powders. This product has both those elements in one! Along with diet and supplements Frau Fowler is helping me heal my cavities, prevent more cavities from forming and kick a severe dental infection. My face was huge and swollen and within one week the bacterial infection was gone without anti-biotics. I like to swish this stuff in my mouth with coconut oil too. If this isn't a miracle in a can, I don't know what is.

I was looking for toothpaste that didn’t have any mint in it. I hate having to choose between brushing my teeth first in the morning or having my coffee first thing in the morning. I had to choose between drinking my coffee with nasty night tooth plaque or horrible mint coffee mix. The taste and texture did take some getting used to, But this is my fourth day using it and Now I like it more than my regular toothpaste. My teeth have never been so shiny! if my teeth get any shinier my friends will be using them as a mirror! I don’t know how but it does seem to control plaque more than my regular toothpaste. I do recommend this product. In fact I’ve been putting little bits of it in tiny containers and giving it out to my friends for them to try. One thing I wasn’t totally in love with about this product is that you have to dip your toothbrush in the powder. Sharing factor I find gross...Although I refused to share my regular toothpaste tube also. I’ve been using it in my own bitty container for two reasons: 1. To confuse my “housemates” about what it is so they don’t use it. Sharing =ewe. 2. Just in case I get the flu and feel for hygiene reasons I should just throw it all out I’m only throwing out a little. After sickness I always throw out my toothbrush and many times toothpaste... I know I may be a little bit of a germaphobe, but i work in the medical field and being a Germaphobe saves lives.

I am amazed that his product works. For years I have sufferred from loss of enamel. My teeth were translucent you could see the bones on the inside. I used this product for two days and couldn’t believe the transformation on my teeth. The ingredients in the powder restored my enamel. My teeth are getting healthier and it’s all because of the powder. In addition I started taking calcium with magnesium but didn’t see a result until I used this powder. For a minute I thought I would have to get veneers and I’m so thankful I don’t have to resort to that procedure. Thanks again you made me a customer for life.

I’m finding it difficult to explain the difference in how my teeth and gums feel in just a matter of a few days. I’ll try my best, though. First of all, I have to say, I actually like the slightly cinnamony taste of the Mouth Medic powder, and I’m grateful that I don’t have a mouthful of foam to gag on like I do with toothpaste. Secondly, my teeth are shiny. Like mirror shiny. So so shiny. It’s the same feeling I have when I leave the dentist after a cleaning. I find myself running my tongue over my teeth constantly, just to feel how smooth they are. Thirdly, my mouth feels clean for hours, not minutes....hours. Maybe it’s that the powder makes it’s own mouthwash when you brush? Lastly, I had a section of my gumline that was starting to recede and felt loose and hard at the edges. Now the looseness is gone so I don’t feel the edge, and it looks like it’s filled in a bit. I’m baffled. I’ve been brushing with this powder for only 3 days. How on earth could there be a change that quickly?I can’t speak on whitening just yet, I don’t know that I see any real difference there yet, but did I mention how shiny my teeth are? Sorry if I seem fixated on that, but it is really noticeable. I’ll have to write another review in a few weeks to document any other changes. I have a hairline crack in the enamel on my left front tooth that I’m wondering if it will fill in and remineralize over time. So far, I am amazed at what has happened in just a few days.

I have been using Frau Fowler toothpowder for about five months now and I love it. I had tried a couple other toothpowders before Frau Fowler, namely Dirty Mouth, but had not been impressed. However, after using Frau Fowler, my teeth have never been whiter or felt cleaner. I was a little worried that this powder would not be effective at preventing plaque or cavities, but on my most recent dental visit my dentist had nothing but good things to say about how my teeth looked. That being said, I do not have any problems with sensitivity so I cannot speak to how this toothpowder would work in that situation.I ordered the variety pack and have to say that I love all the flavors. I think that the product description is accurate in that the cinnamon and power mint flavors are much stronger than the other two, but I got used to it after just a few brushings. You will also have to get used to the salty taste, as it can be a little strange at first. Using toothpowder can be a weird experience for someone just transitioning from using paste, but I have come to prefer it to using toothpaste now and I also really like that it makes its own mouthwash. Overall, I would definitely recommend Frau Fowler to anyone looking to switch to a more natural product for their teeth.

I used toothpowder when I was a kid and prefer it. It's super strange not to rinse out my mouth after brushing, but my teeth definitely look clean and brighter. Unless I get super industrious and make my own toothpowder, I will be a life long customer. I would prefer if Frau Fowler used a tin shaker bottle instead of a dipping canister-- that way I wouldn't have to worry about the kids dumping out the tin or contaminating all the powder.

I was expecting something gritty and unpleasant but was quite surprised that it dissolves in my mouth. I bought the cinnamon which tastes nice minus a salty taste that I'm getting use to. I admit though, the second day using it, my gum line became sore and bright red but I kept up with it and when I woke up the next day, my gums were completely healed and even seem healthier. I equate it to being almost like a detox period for my gums. I'll definitely try the other flavors.

Let me start off by saying that they've changed the container. It no longer comes in the impossible-to-open tin. It's now in a container with a lid that twists right off. Yes it is plastic, but it's a huge improvement in design.This is my second order of this tooth powder. The first one lasted several months. Considering how long it lasts, the price is pretty cheap.The first time I ever used this stuff, it seemed way too salty and strong. It also had me drooling like a mastiff while brushing. It took a few times to get the hang of it, but now, it's fantastic. Toothpaste has never made my mouth feel this clean and although not a huge difference, I do think my teeth look a little whiter.The thing that really sold me on this stuff though was my sensitive teeth. I broke a molar and couldn't afford to see the dentist. I was having pain/sensitivity off and on. I started brushing with this stuff and it seemed like the hurt went away. I don't know why that is or how it works, but I noticed and am grateful.I brush my teeth, gums, and tongue with this stuff, then swish it all around really well before spitting it back out. It's a little weird not drinking any water for a short period after, but I've gotten used to it. My mouth feels really clean and good. I've tried toothpaste a few times since discovering this stuff and can't imagine ever going back to that regularly. Even the more expensive stuff doesn't come close to this.Do yourself a favor and try it out for a couple of days. Maybe wear a bib to catch the slobber the first couple of times you try it. Remember that a little goes a long way.

To be fair this was one of a few products I used to reverse my dental decay, but I have no doubt that Fraufolwer played it's part! When I learned about the dangers of fluoride I went out and bought a tube of paste from a box store and thought that was that. I was very wrong. I lived 46 years of my life cavity free, so I was shocked when a few months later I started to get tooth pain. I later found out I had two cavities. I went to researching, and learned a lot about tooth decay and reversing the damages.One of the things I learned was that fluoride changes the structure of the enamel, the lattice work so to say. If you take the fluoride away, you need to make sure you are putting something in it's place. Any toothpaste won't do, *especially* pastes, as they contain glycerin. The glycerin coats the teeth so that the minerals needed to build a strong lattice work for your enamel will prevent them from coming in contact with the teeth.So I went to work making changes to my diet, and building my supplies....remineralizing powder and drops, coconut oil and wheat grass powder for oil pulling and swishing, herbal powder, and Fraufowler tooth powder. I had my teeth rechecked 9 months later and the cavities were gone!Getting used to using powder took a while, but after running out and having to use a paste for a couple of weeks I was very pleased to see my tooth powder arrive as I now prefer it over a paste.

This gross tasting stuff is awesome..Once you get used to the salty cinnamon taste...Ive had problems with receding gums ,loose gums around teeth, tartar and stains..Within days Ive seen a difference..gums have also stopped bleeding. Heres how to use this to get the best results for those of you who are concerned about using a dry no rinse powder..Ok, so first have a spare toothbrush and brush your teeth with water and rinse to get all the food particles out of your mouth..You can also floss before to get out stuck food. Use a electric toothbrush because its the best for your teeth..Oral B makes good cheaper ones..Take your dry brush and load it up with powder ,before turning your brush on, brush the powder all over your top and bottom teeth for a few seconds..Then turn it on and start brushing.DO NOT spit..Your mouth naturally will salivate. It will pour out of your mouth so hold your head back..keep it all in your mouth. Brush for at least 2 minutes. You can even dip your brush in the buildup under your tongue thereby resaturating the brush with powder liquid.Do not spit!! When you are done, rinse off brush. Start swishing whats in your mouth..this gets it down in deep..swish good then spit..Thats it! This stuff works. I will be a customer for as long as they keep making it..Hope this was detailed enough. Stop buying commercial toothpaste full of crap chemicals..do your research..find whats natural and works..This works.

great stuff I had chronic gum irritation and tried every kind of mouthwash and toothpaste also water pics and a sonic, I tried this just because I had tried everything else. I have noticed in the past 2 months a significant reduction in gum irritation and it is so easy to use. If you were camping you would not even need a sink, Its an awesome product and I will never switch back to paste. Added bonus, these irritating bumps I would sometimes get on my face around my mouth area that were called peri-oral dermatitis went away because they were caused by SLS sodium lauryl sulfate which is in most tooth pastes.

Time to testify: I'm a convert from Uncle Harry's Cinnamon Toothpaste and All Natural Tooth Powder, who is interested in overall oral health and remineralization. Initially, I tried Uncle Harry's Remineralization Kit, and though it did help with some sensitivity issues I was having, it was hard to get past the taste of the tooth powder. Moving on, I tried the Cinnamon Toothpaste, which tasted slightly less horrid than the tooth powder but left a strange mouthfeel thanks to the clay. Finally close to running out of toothpaste, I decided to start looking for alternatives that were well-rated, offered a good, effective product, and weren't overpriced. I settled on Frau Fowler Mouth Medic because, not only did it meet my needs, but they explained how and why their tooth powder worked, and, in a round-about way, explained why the Uncle Harry's didn't work. After using it for a week, I can say that: I love the warm cinnamon/clove taste, and it makes my mouth feel cleaner. (Not wetting the toothbrush beforehand and not rinsing your mouth does take a few days of conscious effort to adjust to, but the logic behind it makes total sense.)

This stuff is incredible! I'm not sure if it's the salt, or clay, but my teeth are not nearly as sensitive as they were previously and they are nice and white! When other customers have said they look forward to brushing their teeth you can believe it! I have tried Mouth Medic and Licorice. I really dislike black licorice candy, but the licorice flavor works so well! The mouth medic has a nice, slight burn and tingle and really a fresh feeling. You can pick up hints of both the cinnamon and clove. The customer service is unlike any I've experienced! So incredibly friendly, efficient and honest. Please give this seller a try! You won't be sorry!

I am absolutely loving this tooth powder. My teeth are brighter and whiter than ever. I l also like the fact that it's all natural. I am a coffee drinker and an occasional smoker. I have tried all kinds of "whitening" tooth pastes and strips/swabs but this powder blows them all away. No comparison to the whitening and clean feeling of this product. I'm hooked and will continue to use. I bought the mouth medic and mint versions. My 9 year old daughter has stolen the mint.I am curious to try the citrus mint also. Great job Frau Fowler for an awesome product!
