Almost feels like I'm cheating
Love the bags... wish the graphic sides base colors were different (both navy) for ease during scoring. I'm sure that will become easier with more use. Otherwise the bags are great!

I'm Impressed!
I hate to admit this but I am semi new at cornhole. I mean I've played here and there and my kids have a set that their Grandpa made them (not regulation size, more of a kid size) and their Grandma sewed the bags and they had actual corn in them.I was asked to play competitively, at work, and my first though was oh no! I needed to do some research on what I needed to get. I found these Play Platoon ACO Tournament Series Pro Cornhole Bags and they look like a good choice to start out with. I was really impressed with them when I took them out of the box. They have some weight to them and are very durable. The stitching is very tight and they feel solid in your hand. I noticed a texture difference on each side. One side is slippery and the other side has almost a grip feel to it. I learned that is a good thing. I was amazed at how each side worked on the boards depending on how I threw them. They also came with a fabric sinch sack for transporting and arrived in a nice, sturdy box. I'm going to keep the box to store them in to keep them nice. I guess what initially drew me in was the design. I loved this patriotic print and how it stood out on the black and white bags. Not gonna lie, these were the talk of the tourney I was in. People loved the design then tried them out and said they were the best bags they had ever used. I didn't feel so much like a newbie having something they were impressed with. One of my buddies ordered the exact same bags during the tourney he was so impressed with them. Overall based on my review, and about 30 others, these are the best bags on the market and are a great price.

Not FULLY double stitched as advertised.
2024-04-18. Cornhole bags by Play Platoon. Tournament series. Pro style dual sided. Competition weight. Set of 8. Sasquatch & UFO. Blue.Got these just in time for the temps to go from the 50's to the 70's. Played with them for about 30 minutes. The air was a little more humid so was looking forward to see if that would affect gameplay with these bags. I let the bags sit outside for 3 hours before using them so they could absorb the moisture from the air. I spent about 30 minutes tossing these bags around and I must admit that they are good enough for tournament play.I ordered these for several reasons:1. They claim to be regulation size and weight.2. They claim to be a professional style set.3. I wanted to compare these against those by ACA and ACL.What's important to note is that the American Cornhole League (ACL) is not the same as the American Cornhole Association (ACA). The ACL has their own standards set for several levels of play and different sized boards. Of course, their Comp and Pro level equipment do meet all regulation guidelines and are suitable for official ACA competition.I ordered this set by Play Platoon mainly because of the potential value. Cornhole bags from ACA and ACL sell for $80 for a set of 4. These by Play Platoon retail for $60 for a set of 8! And they claim to be for Tournament play! Let's get the formalities out of the way shall we:Bag Dimensions: 6"x6" (ACA regulation: 6"x6")Bag Weight: 16.01oz (ACA regulation: 14oz - 16.25oz)Bag Height: 1.0" (ACA regulation: 1" +/- 0.125")So these bags definitely meet regulation size and weight for competitive play. The set includes 8 bean bags, as well as a drawstring storage bag.Construction. They bean bags are well constructed. A closing seam is visible along one of the outer edges but it's not fully double stitched (see pics). The cloth feels durable and there is noticeable texture differences between the two sides. These bags are filled with plastic pellets which are a good choice. Being a plastic they're naturally waterproof which helps in a couple of ways. The beads will not stick together even in humid conditions allowing for truer gameplay, and they won't mold even when they do get wet.Performance. These bags are double sided with different textures. By touch alone you can discern the difference. The cloth side is more rough and is the side with less friction. These will slide more. The suede side is nice and soft and is the tacky side. These will tend to stick more. The double side bags are great for strategy playing and the two different surface speeds will help with blocks, cuts, pushes, or slides. The bags are not tightly filled, but they're not loosely filled either. There is some room for the fill to move around, but not much. This helps your shot fly more truly and the room for movement may help hanging shots fall in.Overall, I very pleased with these bags. They made with quality materials and feel very durable. They have two sides to them so you can adjust your style of play, and they meet official regulations. These bags are a great value at $60 for a set of eight. If you're just a weekend warrior, or a recreational player, I don't think it's necessary for such an investment. But if you're more of a serious player or are thinking of taking your game to the next level, this would be a good set to invest in. This takes nothing away from the product itself. The bags are very functional and I was not able to find any fault with them. I do feel that I need to dock them 1 star as the closure is not fully double stitched as advertised.

Awesomely decorated cornhole bags- a great distraction during a game
I loved the feel of these cornhole bags as I held them in my hands for the first time. Four were printed with one pattern- and four were printed with the other (check out my photos to see the Bigfoot patterns)- the other side held the emblem that made them approved for gameplay in the ACL.I was an underhanded softball player as a teen, slow-pitch, and I played aggressively at least four times a week for years, practicing almost every day I wasn't playing. I think softball pitching is what makes me such a good cornhole player and I always hoped that one day, I would see something that came out of all this aggressive pitching, other than the terrible back, neck, and shoulder problems I now deal with.Checking out ACL cornhole play, it seems like anyone can go to a regional tournament, and if you end up winning, you qualify to go on to bigger and better competitions elsewhere. So, I thought to try practicing and playing with ACL-approved cornhole bags, and one day if I ever have the time and desire, maybe try out one of the regional tournaments.Until I do, I get to play and practice with these cornhole bags which are top of the line in every area- design, materials used, comfort, and that, you are playing with the approved weight by a competitive association for the game- always a good thing to be practicing and playing with. I will never get over how cute these cornhole bags are though- not just with Bigfoot lining up in four of them, but on the other four, under an alien ship- they always make me smile ;)
