Overall, if attached to my welding helmet VERY securely (be ready for some finger-pain while mashing it on...it's incredibly snug), and should work fine while welding standing or seated.However, this hood is a bit short for welding while fcaing down (i.e. leaning over the welding workpiece), so I have to dock 1 star for being too short.

I received my order and have used it and I must admit that I am happy to have it. It protects my head and neck area quite well. I believe I will be placing another order real soon.

The product is nice and well made, it fit my lincoln viking 3350 perfect. I ended up returning it do to the color of the material. I thought it was black but it turned out to be navy blue color. I wished they would had mentioned the color in the description. I would have given it 5 stars but 3 cause of the color is not what I wanted otherwise it's a nice product.

Winner winner. Snug and secure to my welding mask. That annoying glare is gone. Inexpensive and a good product.

i have a helmet with bend in it and it was very difficult to install. with the conventional helmet with the kind of egg shape round back it should be easy to install. i think it's going to work well

Definitely not leather it’s a canvas material but who knows if it will be as good can’t really complain for the price!
