I have been using Henna and Indigo for 20 years. I accidentally ordered this thinking it was just indigo which I was out of. I was surprised when it came that it was a henna indigo pre-mix and it had some of the other herbs that are said to be very good for hair and scalp also in the recipe (I usually add these herbs to my mixes). When I mixed it with water I was really pleased with how smooth the mixture came out. The consistency was wonderful and easy to apply and the smell wasn't horrible. I apply with cheap applicator bottles from the dollar store, put a layer of conditioner on top of the henna after applied to hair (so it doesn't dry out), put on disposable plastic shower caps, a sock cap on tap of the shower caps, let it sit for 6 hours, 1 hour heat cap at the end. Results were the best I've ever had with a 1 step henna indigo process and covered my grays wonderfully. Not jet black but dark brown black. Maybe the trick was leaving it on longer than the 2hrs stated on the instructions if you are covering grays. The lower reviews say it did not cover grays, but for me this is the best mix I have ever used.

I never had a issue with any cheap hennas as well. I am well tolerated in that way. But this one is like I applied and from then I have a feeling that something on my Beard is burning and wanted to remove ASAP. Which I did. Just be cautious (product did work well though)

Not sure how may time I have to use but did not color grays dark. Rather a light brown.

This dye is ineffective. I tried it out in hopes of using a dye that is organic and free of chemicals. I completely followed the directions in regards to applying the dye to my beard. Two hours later, after washing off the dye, I could see no difference in the color of my beard. The grays were still noticeably present. A total waste of money and two hours.

I am very pleased with the seller and the Pardesi Herbal Henna Black product. It came in a very professional package and it was delivered one day before the expected day.What I like about this product is that it has no chemicals and the package provides a very transparent least of natural ingredients. That is exactly what I was looking for.When applying the product I did not feel any irritation, itchiness or discomfort. After 5 hours I washed my hair and I was amazed about how well it worked for me. The black color was very natural. As expected this henna like any other does live your hair with a kind of dry texture feeling but it is a matter of moisturizing. I feel the instructions shoud give more details about the consistency needed when preparing the henna but thankfully there is plenty of resources you can search online to learn about that. I thank the seller and I would buy this product again as long as the quality is not downgraded.

The indigo and coffee were not enough to darken grays. Henna turned them somewhat golden, but not dark enough.

Having used henna regularly about ten years ago, I was delighted to find that this brand made the effort to make it as easy and as tidy as possible! The mess was the main reason I had not gone back to using henna despite how I have always loved the results.This was the first time I tried using henna with indigo, so I did a strand test on some of my darker strands near the back of my neck. My hair varies from medium brown to dark blond. I really liked the warm hue with the added indigo, and there is definitely a blue tint in the light. It is not enough to look actually blue, so that is good for me. I have to have a super professional look for work so I can't pull of too many fun things like that! I had left it on my hair for two hours, so I think if you want more blue...leave it in double that time.The kit includes a resealable decent portion of henna with indigo and other natural ingredients like coffee. It also includes a shower cap and an applicator brush. I did not use the cap since I only did a strand test and I wrapped the strand in hair foil. Now that I am content with the results, I will use the cap when I apply the henna to all of my hair. The applicator brush was fantastic for an applying the paste and minimizing the drips.At sixteen dollars, this is a good value. You can keep it on hand for touch ups or complete reapplications, unlike other henna and hair dying kits, and it comes with enough henna powder for multiple applications. I will definitely order this again.
