This SPLITTER is better than I originally thought - provides a "mock" video signal back to source
This SPLITTER repeats the A/V signal at the input -> to each of the 4 outputs. It is NOT A SWITCH!The Dip switches allow you to provide a "MOCK" A/V signal back to the source device. This allows many things:1. wont confuse the source (cable box, Roku, DVD, etc) with each destinations (TV's) video/audio info.2. allows mixed resolution devices (I have a 4k TV, 720 Projector, and 2 1080P TV's connected)3. Simultaneous video across all tv's in synch with my home theatre audio.BELOW ARE MY ORIGINAL REVIEWS BEFORE I PULLED MY HEAD OUT OF MY ASS :O)UPDATE: If I cycle power on the cable box, the signal comes thru, but I have to do that every time. the cable box takes a few minutes to reboot. The Cable box is confused to what resolution the destination has. cable keeps asking what resolution.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wanted to have a better splitter. so I bought this one.I have a perfectly fine 4 way splitter, but it is older. but all the signals worked that fed from a 4 ways switch.I tried a new HDMI cable … still didn't work.I plugged the cable signal directly into the tv, and the signal is fine.
