Mens Beach Board Shorts Swim Trunks with Cargo Pockets

initial review: these run slightly large in my opinion but still comfortable.follow up: I left the above statement as a review the first time I ordered these. Completely unprompted, the company reached out to me and asked if they could send me the medium and see if those fit better. they sent it free of charge and the trunks fit perfectly. this is clearly a company that cares about their customers. I highly recommend them. The trunks are very high quality and I initially gave them 3 stars only due to the fit.

Husband loves them. He wears a 40 in pants... and got him a Large.

I normally wear size 40-42 jeans (depends on cut) and I bought these trunks in XL. I can get them on and they don't look bad on me but they feel rather snug — mostly, I think, because of the liner. There's very little stretch to the fabric and, if any of my "naughty bits" get pinched, there's not enough room to stick my hand down the front to re-arrange things. Since I can always come up through the leg opening to sort things out the snugness isn't a deal-killer — just something to consider. They seem well-made and I like the look so I gave them 4 stars. I'm spending a week in the tropics this winter & I'll update this review if my opinion changes after that trip.

Great fit, looks good, and dries quickly. String is thick, long enough to secure with a double knot so it won't come undone in rough surf. Cargo pockets secure well with velcro and have drain holes. Mesh liner is not uncomfortable. Glad I bought three pairs of these!

I really like these swim trunks. I have a 39 inch waist and purchased an XL. They are very comfortable, fit perfectly, and dry quickly. The two side pockets are nice and deep, and the cargo pockets on each side are an awesome addition as well. I am going to order a second pair in a different color.

Very thin material, and a bit small. I usually wear 3x, this 4x was still a bit snug.

Fits as I was expecting. The fabric used is nice and the color is also catchy. looks good with a colorful t-shirt. comes with adjustable string to tighten it if you feel it loose on your waist. pockets are deep in case you want to carry some stuff in pockets. it gets dry quickly and saves you from getting an infection due to wearing wet clothes. Nice outfit if you going to swimming pool or beachside. Overall good purchase for me

Ordered my normal waist size and it fit well. Also, good material. Unfortunately the front pockets are so shallow they are useless, Akula should have spent an extra dime on more mesh lining and made them 3 inches deeper. They are so shallow they always come out in the pool, and white mesh sticking out of grey trunks look like rabbit ears.

I ordered and received very quickly the black medium size shorts. The shorts are well made with reinforced stitching for the velcro cargo pocket closures. The rear seam of the shorts is triple stitched, a mark of quality construction for durability. The Medium shorts are comfortable on my 33 inch waist. The drawsting goes all the way around the waist inside the waistband. The outer side seam measures slightly more than 20 inches from top of the waistband to bottom of the shorts. I am very happy with these shorts.

I’m 6’1”, 185lbs and usually a 34-36 waist (mostly 34). The large fit perfect for me. Held up well for a week in Hawaii and a trip through Asia. I like that they are a bit longer than what seems to be in style these days. Good swim trunks. I recommend.
