From the reviews, a lot of people seem to want a sunscreen that glides on and rubs in well. Those sunscreens typically contain strange chemicals and get absorbed into your blood stream. This stuff is mineral sunscreen and it wont run in as smoothly. The positive thing is you wont absorb it into your blood stream, and this stuff stays on all day. I used it for kitesurfing and I can go hours without getting burned, and it works great for regular outdoor activities. The tint makes it less noticeable than the typical zinc sunscreens that leave huge white streaks on your face.

Due to good ingredients, I decided to give this a try. The problem is that I didn't open the package soon enough. When I finally tried this, I was surprised that it just doesn't glide on the face at all! Just can't spread it. I've used other sunsticks that you can glide no problem, but not this. Unfortunately, I missed the return window, so I contacted the company. It was very disappointing. They wouldn't give me a refund, then asked me to send it back to them with me paying the shipping if I want the store credit to buy other items. I don't think I would enjoy any of their products, honestly.What a Waste of moeny!

I wanna start off with the fact that I did read the reviews. This review will be a little long but its based off a 2 week trying period beforeni posted a review. I love thisbbrand and wanted to give the most honest review that i can to help others in finding a good product for them. The product as a whole is great. It's just the consistency of the product in the packaging is the downside. Yes, it also has a smell to it. It's not bad or from added fragrance but just the scent of the ingredients it's made with.I work a hard labor job where I'm always sweating and in and out of the hot sun or even in a freezer. But everyday I go out in to the sun so i like to wear a tinted sunscreen for protection and to even out my skintone a little. It stays put and still gives me a more even complexion. I can wear alone or put some powder on top. I prefer alone because it is a tacky product that I feel makes most powders look a little weird. (Fine powder, however, worked okay)The biggest issue is the consistency in the turn tube. I have to really work it against my hand to warm it up and get it melted down to be able to blend out on my face. (Which can be a little messy) After that, it's smooth sailing.However, it's a face stick which is usually bought by those on the go and wanting to quickly re apply. I feel like the tinted moisturizer would be better in consistency to get it blended for that but bulkier of packaging.I still personally love this product even though it isn't the quickest re apply there is but it's a much safer formula for my skin. It hasn't broken me out in the 2 weeks I've been wearing it.I love raw elements and I'll definitely be getting this again for the final result. But if you're looking for something quick and has more coverage, this might not be the best for you. Remember it's not supposed to look like make up. It's a sunscreen for people are normally active or for those who want some light coverage but still protect their skin for the sun.I wouldn't knock it before trying but just know it is a thick formula and you will have to work it a bit in order to smooth it out.

Very good product. I found it on an all day boat tour in Hawaii and didn’t get burned in spite of b not being in the sun much post-lockdown. It has a higher percentage of effective ingredients compared to the other mineral-based products I’ve tried. And (bonus!) it doesn’t have that overpowering fake fruit scent. The scent is nice and mild. The bronze is probably a little lighter than you expect, medium to fair skin will blend well after a day out.The orange packaging is the old one - by now those are going to be dried out. Zinc doesn’t last forever so get the white packaging.(To the manufacturer: Please bring back the colorful packaging! I loved the color and this white one looks a little too medical for the beach. I was sad 😔 to see the fluorescent pack go.)

This product is excellent over a moisturizer. It will glide on so much easier that way. I use a beeswax and shea butter balm on my face and they apply this product over it. It provides just the right amount of tint.

I much prefer their sunscreen in a can that does spread. I will return these sticks if possible.

I think I might have received an expired product. This didn't glide at all and was rock solid. I like that it's totally natural, so if the formulation actually got on the skin, I could see it working great.
