This is a great ambi safety for a 1911! I got this being a lefty ambi safety is a must have.......this virtually dropped into a Rock Island GI with just a few file strokes.....Seems to be a very high quality part! Will be getting more for my other 1911's!Update: Just bought a 2nd ambi safety for a Rock Island Tactical and it dropped right in with a perfect fit! Highly recommended parts!

Otherwise a very good product.
Had a tab extending forward on the right side lever that hit the grips and had to be ground down for the safety to function. Otherwise a very good product.

The ambi safety didn't stand up to range practice
The right side of the safety broke upon using at the range. MIM part, and I should have purchased from a different manufacturer.
