What a collection ! ! !
This 3 cd set is great. The sound quality is good too. Love this because it has tracks from Brenda Holloway, Kim Weston, Tammi Terrell, Rare Earth, The Originals and many others. It's worth every penny. Get them while they last.

Great CD
Big Hits and Rare Classics is great. Motown in its heyday, in other words it’s as good as it gets!

MOTOWN RARITIES
“The Elgin’s-Darling Baby,” is a hard to find single. Not on “ITunes,” [at least the original studio version]; I found it here! Plus-there are NUMEROUS other original “Motown” favorites in this awesome collection.

Proof that music transcends basic values
I adore Kim Weston, Brenda Holloway, Barrett Strong, Isley Bros, David Ruffin and the rest - jewels in the crown of this music but not exclusively....I was about to be critical of adding the fillers Charlene & Billy Preston to the back end of CD2 when the standard "What the world needs now.." broke out....but in a completely different version to the corny radio version I'd heard years ago. I was brought to tears. No need to explain - just listen. Unity in music - everyone should be forced to hear this. Purity

Mucho Motown!
This 3 CD set of familiar and rare tunes is excellent. Stand out tracks are Rare Earth's Temptations covers Get Ready and (I Know) I'm Losing You, The Elgins original Put Yourself in my Place, a Tammi Terrell solo Come and See Me and Tom Clay with What the world needs Now/Abraham, Martin and John, which is more of a Folky Protest song. It's also great to see several Velvelettes and Isley Brothers tunes included. This is value for money, treat yourself, buy and listen to this!!

Heaven Must Have Sent You!
60 tracks, that's sixty songs across 3 discs from early Motown. I am really enjoying these discs. There is so much variety. Many of these tracks were stateside hits in their own right but I bought them on LPs in sales. Groups like the Elgins, Velvelettes, Detroit Spinners and the Contours are included here with tracks we all know. I am sure that there are tracks taht werent released in the UK too. There are originals of songs like Money and Do You Love Me. There are great songs by the Ruffins and the Isley Brothers There's odd stuff too like he Tom Clay track which sensibly is at the end of CD 2.This is not just a nostalgia experience, it's both a good introduction to the sound of Motown and a development beyond the Hitsville expereince."Heaven must have sent you" is a good description of this collection. The price is superb value too.

Very very good
Worth the price. This is quite an education, and to think lots of these ended up pushed to one side or thought of as just not good enough to release!Over enthusiastic quality control!
