Dr. HauschkaFoundation, Chestnut, 1 Fl Oz

Hate this product and the dispenser it comes in. Flakes off the face so it looks like grime. Here is a photo of the little dry piece of wasted product that comes out every time you use the pump. Years ago Dr. Hauschka had a tinted face moisturizer that I loved and they keep messing with it so that it is now completely ludicrous. What is their point?

This foundation is great, just transparent enough to look natural yet gives my skin a nice even look. Not 5 stars because every time I use it the first little bit has hardened in the pump tip. So I'm losing some of this rather expensive product.

I am pleasantly surprised by this foundation. It feels weightless on and is made with ingredients that aren't harmful to your skin or body. I purchased this after reading Jillian Michael's book, Master Your Metabolism, in which she recommended this company as a fantastic clean makeup company--which is important for not only your skin but for regulating your hormones.Anyway, $35 may feel like a steep price but one pump of this is all you need for medium coverage of sun spots, freckles, and acne scars. My one complaint is that I can't see inside to tell how much product is remaining. I would prefer a glass bottle instead of this brown plastic. All in all, I give it five stars.

I loved my No 2, used to be able to get it at Whole Foods. This bottle was a completely different shade, very yellow, and thus unusable for me. Of course, beauty products can't be returned, so I'm out the $$. But I learned to only purchase these items in person, not online.

As other reviewers have mentioned, it's too yellow for fair skin. I did not return the foundation, but to make it match my skin tone, I have to mix in a small amount of pink primer to get the effect I was looking for. Without taking this extra step, I could not use the foundation in the color I bought (which I had used happily in the past). I would definitely suggest testing this product in a brick-and-mortar store to ensure you buy a color that works for you.

I absolutely love this foundation. I would prefer to not have to wear any, but since my skin isn't naturally flawless, this is the next best thing since it provides a very elegant coverage without being obvious. I also love the macadamia color for my skin tone, which is quite pale, but this helps give my skin a healthier tone. Cannot imagine loving another foundation more.

The shade is slightly coffee which is kind of yellowish. My skin tone is pinker. I wished they would make a real thick concealer make up stick and make those in many more shades and nuances including pinkish. Ha. Dr. Hauschka and Weleda are the very best companies in the world.

I love the product but the new package design not so much. A little clump dries inside the pump and it comes out with the next use, leaving you to either pick it out or try to crush it in your skin.

I now only use Dr Hauschka makeup because it contains no harmful ingredients, is ethically produced and against animal testing. It is also very high quality in terms of ingredients, packaging and performance. I use the 01 shade which is perfect and very natural for my fair complexion.If you want a foundation which looks like skin, but much better, does not cake and which smoothes out your fine lines without sitting in them, then this is an excellent choice.It is lovely to be able to use cosmetics from this brand knowing I can trust them to only use ingredients which will be good for my skin and cause me no harm.

I really like Dr Hauschka products, they are expensive but last well and have only natural ingredients in them, my only critism of this product is the pump, I preferred the tube as I always new when it was time to reorder but this pump you have no idea and you are liable to run out, plus if you haven't used it for a couple of days you start with a hard blob!! Should come with a little stopper to avoid this. Product itself is great, packaging of most of their products break before product finished.

Dr. Haushcka's products are basically the best for my skin, organic and light. I used to work in an organic store and became more familiar with the brand. I highly encourage everyone to start using Hauschka products since instead of ruining your skin, it nurtures it.The shade of the foundation does not really stand out, nicely blends in and feels comfortable. It gives a little bit of "inner" glow but does not make my skin shiny.

This product is a foundation and I have used it for several years with total success. However this time the container is faulty as the plunger doesn’t work properly.

Absolutely love this product. The coverage is great, keeps my skin dewy and lasts all day. Love, love love it.
