Delightful book
This book grabs you in the opening scene and keeps holding on until the last word. There were quite a few twists and turns that I never seen coming. I split time listening most often to the book and reading it! I thought the performance was great.

Great Book
The book was an enthralling read that captivated me from start to finish, compelling me to turn pages at an exhilarating pace. The author's writing style was masterfully crafted, presenting a clear and concise narrative that effortlessly guided readers through the story. Despite the complexity of multiple characters populating the narrative, the author demonstrated exceptional skill in developing rich, multidimensional personalities that felt authentic and engaging. The plot was punctuated by numerous unexpected twists and turns, culminating in an ultimate betrayal that left me breathless. Yet, despite the dramatic revelations and emotional turbulence, the conclusion felt perfectly orchestrated, with each character's journey resolving in a manner that was both satisfying and inevitable. The narrative arc was meticulously constructed, ensuring that every element of the story converged seamlessly to create a profoundly memorable reading experience.

what !?
Great book with lots of unseen twists.Chloe is a stalker. She watches her neighbors from her window. She involves herself in their affairs. But is it really she who is the problem?Jemma and Adam Spengler appear to be the perfect couple, but underneath their facade is a cracked and broken marriage. When the three’s lives intertwine, things change forever. There were definitely a lot of layers and perspectives to sort through to find the truth.

Took a bit to grow on me
Overall, this is an interesting book with a unique plot and a lot of interesting twists and turns. I did not really care for the characters at first, so I had a hard time getting invested in the story, but I eventually warmed to them. I would recommend to my book club friends who enjoy suspense/thrillers.

Am I an alcoholic?
Starts out a little slow, but kicks up a nice even pace and snags the reader into wanting to know who did what or who. Interesting play on the Criminal mind with psychological background and keeps you trying to figure out who did it. Or who got away with it. Midway through I was trapped and began reading faster, and didn’t want to put the book down. But throughout, I was shocked at the introduction of drinking and having vodka or wine or bourbon, and it seemed like the characters are drinking at all times of the day or night with no special occasion, but stress. Other than this little snafu, the story was really pretty good and one you might find on A&E channel or OWN or dateline.

Fiction at Its Finest
I could not have put this book down if my house was on fire. Just incredible - the shocking revelations throughout, together with the author's gift for emotion and atmosphere, were brilliant. I felt so much compassion for Chloe and the ending was perfect in my view. Also, the dogs were a sweet addition!

Another great read
Loreth never disappoints with the thrillers. This book started slow, but it really helps build the characters for you. I kept trying to guess what was going to happen next and couldn't. Highly recommended!

Twists and turns
This story was filled with twists and turns, many I simply didn’t see coming. Every time I thought I knew would happen next….well I didn’t.The story of Chloe Cooper was tragic to say the least. She was raised in a sheltered environment and she led a sheltered life. Who would have guessed the events that occurred by just getting a new neighbor? This book was chosen to read by our book club, and I imagine there will be a lot of interesting conversation when we meet to discuss.
