A good fit (size 8), excellent value, lightweight and just like the image. I specifically bought these to find that middle ground of smart casual: I can wear them with coloured jeans and a t-shirt; I can wear them with smarter trousers and a shirt.They are comfortable, but they aren't padded like a trainer is. I expected that. When I want to go fully casual, I'll shove my running trainers on. The sole is thick enough and has enough grip, but I can feel the sharper gravel when I walk out on our drive, so definitely not for hikes or anything like that. The bend at the ball of foot is stiffer than a trainer too, but that is not noticeable now I've worn them a lot. I can drive easily in them, as an example. Early signs are that it's of decent quality and will last.

The shoe has worn in well and looks good with smart or casual. I sometimes wear them to the office. I do wish they were leather, I'd have paid the difference because the style and fit and height for my narrower foot is spot on.
