Excellent Black Olives!
My husband is a black olive nut. He has tried so many different brands, but he is in love with these Mario Camacho Foods Black Olives! The olives are from Spain and have a much better flavor that the boring California black olives. I love these too! We can easily gobble down an entire can in one sitting. Husband loves them in his bean burritos. I love them in cheese enchiladas. And, we both love them right out of the can! Yum!Update 09/03/2019: For the bad reviews concerning the supposed CA Prop 65 warning;Apparently, the negative reviewers have mistaken these Mario Olives for a different brand??? - I have been buying these Mario Large Pitted Black Olives for years and there is ABSOLUTELY NO, NO, NO CA Prop 65 warning on the cans, OR any issues with these olives! - These Mario Olives are imported from Spain and they do have a stronger olive flavor compared to California grown olives. I much prefer these Mario Olives for their stronger olive taste! - It is OK to give a lower review because you do not like the olives BUT is is totally NOT OK to give false information that these olives have a CA Prop 65 Warning on them!

BIG black beauties,
I just sit and eat the whole can, so I need 2 cans if I’m cooking. These are delicious , juicy, big, bold and taste amazing. Low calorie so I just eat the whole can instead of a bag of chips as a snack. My movie munchie, for real, I top olives on celery stuffed with garlic hummus. You know, like kids eat ants on a log ( peanut butter stuffed celery with raisins down the middle) . But this is the adult version of that. Not paid review. Amazon bring these back please! Snacking on a budget , starving artist style. Thank you

The olives were fresh and
The olives were fresh and tasty The comments about prop 66 from CA are absurd CA has so many laws it would take 10 years just to read them some food needs preservatives or they spoil and then people will get sick and the product will have a very short shelf life

Tastes nuttier than American ones.
These have a nuttier and richer taste than its canned American counterparts. However, I did see a Prop 65 potential cancer warning, which concerns me. Perhaps they used a BPA canning process.

Best flavor, quality and firmness
These are the very best black olives I think I have ever had. The firmness is just right, not to mushy or tough. The flavor is wonderful. At the time I got them the price was good. Waiting for them to be in stock again- I want more!!!

Something's off
I buy these olives in snack size pouches often and those are great, however this canned version has a mushier texture and metallic flavor. One of the cans came dented so I thought perhaps that caused the problem but the un-dented can suffered from the same issue. I would recommend the snack pouches but not the cans of Mario black olives.
