Works great 🐾 saved my dogs pads.
The media could not be loaded. Tested this this product while summiting a mountain with my dog. It absolutely saved her paws. During the 11.5 mile hike we encounterd all the extremes including sand, rock screes ,glaciers and volcanic cinder. Normally this would tear up a dogs pads but she had absolutely no issue. Her pads are conditioned form normal hiking and I used rhino trail wax as extra protection and to avoid needing booties. The cinder tore up my hiking boots but my dogs pads stayed protected. I suggest to apply the wax several days ahead to ensure a good barrier.

Works good!
Works good. I like that it has 2 tubes. You can split them with someone else or have one for each dog’s bedroom. They add protection to their feet. It’s easy to use and the dog likes to have his paws massaged.

Rhino Wax - Dog Paw Balm for Trails
I ordered Rhino Wax - Dog Paw Balm for Trails (2 Tubes + 1 Microfiber Cloth). This was easy to apply on my pup's paws and let it dry for awhile before she got down to walk. We have rocks for the backyard and her pads have become smooth and slightly hardened, with this wax, it helps to protect her feet a lot longer. I do have her wait before walking not only so that the product can have tyme to dry but also bc we have slippery tile. The wax goes on smoothly, but noticed that it arrived soft, so that means it might not too well in the heat over time in your backpack. At least not direct sunlight. When it's soft, the product does tend to go faster unlike it being solid. There isn't much smell to it, kind of neutral and it's okay if you're dog licks some of it, but the purpose is to keep it on till it dries

The best a owner can do for his best friend paws!
I have a few dogs, actually 3 adults and 3 puppies currently in the Home. The adults are a white Shepard, German Shepard/Husky mix, Shepard/Rottweiler mix. They are all on the large size so walking everyday minimum once a day and diet is something I always keep on my mind with them. The difficulty with this is that I live in Phoenix Arizona. The temps can fluctuate somewhat on the cool side during winters months but I'm most concerned with the summer. The high temps can stay high overnight because the mass amounts of concrete with black asphalt making a urban heating effect. With all of this, it makes walking my dogs during this time dangerous. I need to go as early as possible in the morning usually 5am or earlier with the walk, the walk being double it's time than usual and afternoons I do not, during the summer months. With this street wax, I know my dogs paws are protected. I notice even a difference of how they walk and the overall attitude is way better afterwards. My first year I didn't use any protective measures for my first dog except to use cream/lotion during the night, he would just lick it off as soon as I got it on.His paws were cracked and I could tell he wasn't comfortable like this. I tried looking for things on the market but the best thing was paw boots. It was impossible to put on and they would be pulled off shortly after putting them on.This dog paw wax is absolutely the best thing I've ever found... I will forever use this on all my dogs because not only is it for the hot streets but trails, snow etc waxes they have with this brand. It's very affordable and really practical saving my dog from future problems. When applying it's very smooth to apply and stays on... My dogs try to lick but no effect, when it's on its on. It really does work because the walks are less of a run and more enjoyable. I can tell they understand when I put this on. One of my dogs is sensitive but once it's on. She has a great protection on her paws from whatever is on the street and that's not just the heat....It's way more comfortable for them then having paw boots, they are protected during our walks but the best part is once I started using the product, I noticed their paws are very smooth, no cracks anywhere. Their paws are super healthy, probably the best since ever...Overall I wish I found something like this sooner, I treat my dogs like family and this product really helps in many ways. It makes my dogs feel like themselves and being comfortable n happy without any sacrifice on their part. It's very affordable and the amount in the product can go a long way. This is the best way I think to provide their paws protection like US humans use footware. The walks is their way to enjoy the outdoors and feel free n happy. Happy dog is a happy owner, happy owner makes a happy family in the happy home.I totally recommend this!!

Great for dog paw protection
This wax really seems to help my dog’s paws, essential for our desert climate. I’ll keep using it.

Great kit for beach (or just backyard) -- plenty of effective, EZ to apply balm + safe to use...
This kit is great for our dog's paws, and not just for the occasional trip to the beach, either. I already have a single tube of this beach wax, as well as some of the other balms made by this brand, so I know they are safe, easy to apply and effective. I was happy to find this two-pack that also includes a soft cloth that I can use to clean their paws before applying the wax when we are on the go. I also use it to apply the wax which I find easier (the dogs are very interested in the container, but they don't pay any attention at all to a cloth). This also helps keep the surface of the balm stick clean. I use this not only for the beach, but it is nice to apply in the mornings before the pups head out into the backyard. Part of the yard is soft grass, but there is a rough area farther back with bricks, paving stones, dirt, rocks and native plants including cacti. All of which can be rough on paws. I use the regular paw balm from Rhino Wax at night when our pups are all tired out. And I put socks on the their feet so they don't spend too much time trying to lick the product off. In the morning, when they are well-rested and feisty, it is a different story. At first it wasn't easy to get them to sit still long enough to put the wax on, but they are getting used to it. It is still hard to distract them so they don't lick it all off but if I spend a couple of minutes massaging it in, I trust most of the wax has been absorbed. Between using the regular balm and this wax, I have noticed a significant improvement in the condition of both dog's paws. They are no longer so dry and the cracking is definitely beginning to lessen, even after just a few applications. Each tube contains two ounces of balm, which will likely be enough to last through the entire summer.
