Living Life the Essex Way

Sam’s poor friends have received a slating
I have no excuse for reading this book other than I wanted some mental junk food. I do agree with many of the reviews. From finishing most of her sentences with ‘and that’ to the self-compliments worked into every page. Oh to borrow Sam’s ego for the day! In fairness she was very young when this was written and I am sure it is something she reads back and shakes her head at.She is a little misguided on Essex. It is a big county and not everyone dresses the same or has the same outlook. The ‘golden triangle’ of Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell is where most of us know the classic image of Essex to have originated and where most of the cast are from. Brentwood is quite far out and was adopted by Towie because they found a business owner in the form of Mick Norcross who aspired to become part of this scene – and no doubt provided free filming locations in return.Sam’s poor friends have received a slating. Even her lovely sister is the target of some back-handers, with Sam describing herself as the laid-back of the two. I did agree with her views against Katie Price putting her family in the limelight. Maybe when I tune into ‘Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries’ I might get a better impression.

Absolute Drivel!
This book is dreadful. I skimmed through the second half. I got the impression from the show that Sam was fairly grounded and decent. Her book demonstrates a different person. She makes snide comments about other cast members and just seems to brag. What self respecting person tells the world how much money her shop makes in a week! The book is also really boring. I was expecting to find out more about her life in terms of upbringing, education, issues etc but all she talked about was hair, fake tan, clothes etc. she comes across as extremely superficial and driven by money and fame. Her life must be really boring if that is all she cares and talks about. There was no emotion reflected in there at all. I read Chloe Sims book before this one and it was much better, really interesting. Don't bother with Sam's book. It was a waste of my time and money. She is making even more money from people reading her rubbish!

Must read
Fantastic book. Here sam open up to what it is like being filmed and livening I'm Essex and what she can't live without. The truth what happened with her and mark wright. And now she is now moveing forward with joey Essex. The party life style and the does and don't to sam look. This is a book I could not put down thanks sam ,!

Not favourable
She comes across as unnecessarily bitchy and stuck up in this. Doesn't really have many kind words to say about anyone. Accuses people of being jealous, getting surgery to look like her, and offers backhanded compliments all the time. Could never quite get a grasp on her personality in the show, and reading this is further confounding. Say what you want about Lauren Goodger, at least she is relatable. Much preferred Lauren's book too. Sam just doesn't seem genuine.

Rubbish, book made me really dislike the girl
So i dowloaded this book because obviously i am a fan of TOWIE, i genuinely quite liked the girl from watching the programme but this book has completely changed my opinion. When i downloaded this i was expecting trashy gossip, everything i love about TOWIE, but what i got was Sam explaining everthing she loves about herself and her amazing 'beauty regime' she really did come across as vain and arrogant. I genuinely have NO idea how this book has stayed in the top 10 for so long, i can only assume it is because people like me are buying this expecting something completely different. Complete waste of money and time reading this rubbish.

Don't even know what that was..?
Was looking forward to a sort of autobiography and an insight into the world of TOWIE. What I actually got was page after page of pointless comments about herself and other people from TOWIE. Basically a book about how great she is and how much she loves herself and step by step instructions on how to do very basic tasks!? I'm not sure how many times her great business mind is mentioned and whenever she makes a negative comment on something there is then a self made compliment towards herself on how she would have handled the situation. She came across really poorly in the book, which is a shame because on screen she seems fairly nice and grounded but in writing she was up herself and just plain egotistical.

Not sure I have ever read something so boring
Even though each series appears more staged I'm still a fan so really couldn't wait to read this book. Unfortunately I read up to about page 5 and couldn't take any more. From the first few pages she likes to make it clear she was in TOWIE from the get go and mentions who she added to the show. Far too self-obsessed for my liking and even though I only paid 99p I still feel that was 99p too much

Living life the essex way towie and me
I was very disapointed to learn that the book which has Sam on the front with long hair and has a pink background is exactly the same book as Sam with short hair and a blue background!! I bought the blue book for my daughter for xmas as she is a fan of Towie only to find that it is the same book as she already has - the one with the pink background! What a con - these people are re-releasing books with differnet covers. Maybe its a little bit of a big 'ask' though to expect them to have had such an interesting life as to produce two autobiographys. Others please beware both books are the same but with different covers!
