The well rounded contents of this tome would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. It covers everything from money spells & protection to love & confidence. I especially appreciate the later chapters on setting up your space & safety. It's an excellent starting place and solid cornerstone for a modern witchling. And... I cannot get over the velvety feel of the cover.

This is a great book for both beginners and experienced practitioners as well. There's lots of useful spells.

Visits upon pretty much every subject one could think of in spell casting. From setting up an altar (don't let that be intimidating, Evermore is an excellent mentor), casting circles, consecrating our space. Timing our spells, something I admit I still wish to work a bit more on. This book makes it a lot easier to make a healthy habit for myself because it's in easy terms, and in order of how to do each spell. The type of spell, Intent, what we'll need, the preparation required, the spell, sealing, and after the spell. I loved the section about Traditional Incantations, that feels more comfortable to me at this point.The spells that stood out most for me, that I was drawn to right away are: Creating Sigil Candle Spell; Healing Moon Talisman; Custom Healing Sigil; Seven-Day Healthy Candle Spell; Abundance Balm; Rose Petal Mist Spell; Healing Full Moon Water, just a few of the spells I've really enjoyed, and ones I'll use again. She also brings up Silent Spells, something I never really thought about or even considered. So many takeaways for me including the blessing of natural light, it only makes sense to incorporate natural light into our sacred space. Symbols of the elements, keeping it simplistic works for me and Evermore suggestions are easy to attain. Personalization of our altar, both seasonal and thematic just opens up my imagination to the endless possibilities. I like the idea of a portable altar as I don't have a lot of space and I also like to move between indoors and outdoors depending on weather, seasonal and astronomical events.Touches on the safety and ethics of spellcasting. A bit about The Wiccan Rede and Law of Threefold Return, a call for mindful living and moral cause-and-effect, the repercussions of our actions and how that energy comes back to us. To me it's an innate way of life, intuitive.
