Wedding Traditions: Here Comes the Bride

This is a well produced book with excellent, dated illustrations. It is particularly valuable for dating wedding dresses, although the rather odd 'recreations' of of Medieval Costumes are a distraction. It is hlepful to see designer sketches as well as photographs. Some wedding customs and their origins are included.It would make a nice 'light-hearted' gift for an intending bride.

Purchased this for a friend's wedding, and really enjoyed reading about the traditions and different ceremonies envolved. Made a great gift!

Wonderful to browse through, and to learn from. Makes a great gift for the bride too.
