I am a teacher at a local elementary school who runs our gardening program for grades K-5. Part of our gardening lessons has been learning how to prepare the produce from the school garden. I bought two of these sets for our 5th grade classes to do a salsa making project, so that the students could chop up tomatoes and peppers that we grew.These boards served their intended purpose perfectly. Over the course of a few days these boards got used by 125 students, and held up just fine. We ended up with 4 big bowls of salsa - enough for all four classes to try some of each. They are also very affordable - so if and when one does end up getting damaged it is no big deal to replace it. Be aware that are not large cutting boards at only 11.4 x 7.5. However, this was perfect for being used by small hands and needing to fit on a school desk.If you are looking for a cutting board to teach your kid cooking skills and introduce them to kitchen work, I would definitely recommend this set.

These cutting boards are as good as the ones I used to get at Dollar Tree.

I have big cutting boards that are a pain to drag them out to cut up small items but these little boards are perfect for cutting up a lemon, or a onion, or anything small
