Great kettle
This is perfect for camping or for emergency use! It collapses efficiently and works great. It's made for camp stoves, not open flames. It heats quickly and is easy to clean. A perfect addition to any set of camping gear.

Collapsible and Easy to Use Kettle (cup not included)
I've used this kettle a few times and absolutely love it! It collapses down for storage and pops back up with strong support (even when filled with water). I've tried other collapsible cups and things that do not hold steady, so I am very pleased with this. The cups that match the set are also very well built and can recommend those as well if you need any cups for this kettle. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with this.

I love my camping kettle
What is not to love about this kettle? It's lightweight, collapses down to a nice small size, holds just over a liter of liquid, has a lid that stays in place when pouring and also can be attached to the upper lip of the kettle easily so you don't have to set it on the ground when you need to stir or whatever...

You Don't Have To Be A Backpacker To Enjoy The Compact Functionality Of This Camp Kettle
If you have decided to cook on your camping or backpacking trip, this Sea To Summit collapsible silicon/aluminum kettle is worth consideration.Compressed, it is 6" in diameter, 1.5" high and weighs in at 7.4 ounces. Even compressed you may be able to pack some coffee, tea, soup mix, or ??? within it.I gave it a quick test on our kitchen stove, boiling an egg. It didn't melt. After the test I noticed precautions printed in microscopic text warning to use only with camp stoves, on medium to low heat, being careful to keep the flame from the outer edges of the pot to avoid damage to the silicon sides. So it's not a good choice for cooking over an open fire. Knowing how many aluminum pans I have warped, you may also wish to avoid placing the still-hot pot into cold water.Given the compact dimensions, it's surprising the capacity, the tea pot can hold a full quart of water (32 ounces). Heating a full quart at low to medium heat may take a while. The handles and lid are plastic and silicon, you can grab either without getting burned. The handles conveniently fold flat when packed and do not protrude.

Beautifully made
I really love this little kettle, and I say this as somebody who does not generally like cooking gear made out of things that can’t handle direct fire in its entirety. This kettle however has me thinking about experimenting with a pack of gear made up entirely of collapsible items such as this, and all of the benefits an approach to things like that might offer. Theoretically, one could use this kettle with an open campfire as long as you’re willing to be patient and pull out some hot coals away from the fire on which to set the kettle. But hanging over the fire from a tripod or something like that is out of the question - the kettle would be destroyed in no time. So with care, this kettle might offer some benefits and be a practical piece of gear, but at the same time, there are plenty of drawbacks for those of us used to carrying gear that could survive a nuclear explosion.

small portable camp kettle
Recently got back from using this on a weekend camping trip. This is really meant for backpacking and space conscious trips. The bottom of the kettle is a bit small for a camp stove burner, and would be a better fit for a pocket rocket or similar stove setup. The walls are a nice sturdy silicone that collapses down when not in use. I used this to boil water for coffee and to make ramen at night. The only thing I would change is have the lid be somewhat attachable so it's easier to not misplace.

Excellent camp kettle in every way
This is a fantastic kettle for boiling water; it’s extremely lightweight, collapses down to a very thin size, is made from high quality, good feeling materials and it heats up just as quickly as my other ultralight Glacier pot, but takes up about 1/3 the space. The lid fits perfectly and the expanding/collapsing mechanism works really well, only allowing itself to go one way or the other so it’s quite easy to accomplish. Granted, I was able to nest my MSR Pocket Rocket and fuel canister inside my traditional pot cookware, there are times when I’m not the one carrying the fuel and stove, so it effectively halves my mess kit load and any weight and space savings is always appreciated.
