Great for the price for most people
SUMMARY: Great dashcam with front and inside-the-cabin cameras with very usable footage. It records 512 KBPS audio along with the video and has REALLY clear audio recording. For the price, it’s a great camera and I think most people will be happy. Good chipset and a decent sensor. Day shots are good, night shots are okay-- could be better but for the pricepoint, it’s great. Definitely recommend it if you need a single dashcam that records outside and inside the car.DETAILED REVIEW:This is a pretty cool dashcam to have. I think it’s good for Uber or Lyft drivers that want to record what is going on inside along with outside of their car. So let’s start with the basics. This will do everything a standard dashcam is supposed to do like auto-on/off with power, loop recording, file lock, audio, date/timestamp, etc. so I won’t go into detail about that. You can expect this to function as a dashcam should and it does the basics very well. Starts up and records with power quickly. It also has parking mode to record when your car is off and parked, which is neat. It’s COMPLETELY blacked out and discreet so it will not stick out like a sore thumb in your windshield to potential thieves, which is great! However, the camera is a bit larger than some others on the market but this one does have two cameras so it’s excusable. It’s very light and has some sort of soft-touch matte rubber coating on it. Time will tell if it gets tacky in the heat after a few months. The buttons are tactile, large, and well placed. They state that the maximum microSD you can run is a 32GB but I’m running a 64GB without issue. The way this records is both cameras record onto the card as separate files (“A” and “B”) and BOTH files include clear pretty high quality audio, which is awesome. If you wanted one video with both cameras side by side or picture-in-picture, you’d have to use a video editor on a computer (which is perfectly fine).I am very picky about what dashcam to run in my car and normally run more expensive ones. However that being said, this camera is pretty good value for the price. Not everyone wants to spend $300 on a basic dashcam, and that’s perfectly fine. This one does the job very well and will satisfy most people. I’m currently running 1920x1080 30FPS (11,000 KBPS .MOV) for the main front camera with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). You have the option to change this camera’s resolution lower if you want but I just left it in the maximum resolution. (1440x1080, 1280x720, 848x480, 640x480 are the other resolutions, all 30FPS.)The secondary camera, the one that points inside the car, is set at 720x480 at 30FPS (3,200 KBPS .MOV). That resolution cannot be changed. The inside camera can be adjusted up/down to keep things in frame. It is also a pretty wide angle and is able to record from door to door inside my car. Now onto the inside-facing infrared LED lights. Anyone who is familiar with IR LED cameras knows that when you turn them on, the camera will go into black and white filter (IR cut) so you can see the footage better. I actually thought these would be very useful as they normally are. However, on this camera, the infrared LEDs make the picture very grainy and unusable in my opinion. So I left those LEDs off, I’m glad they give you the option to turn them off/on. Without the infrared LEDs at night, the footage is back to color and surprisingly is much better. Still grainy, but not nearly as bad. You can actually see pretty well into the cabin. So I left the IR LEDs off and I’m happy with the inside footage. It’s usable. This dashcam also has a lithium rechargeable battery installed inside. That may be a plus to some people but I am not a fan of putting a LI-ON battery inside of dashcams. I live in California where summers can get up to 100+ degrees Fahrenheit and I typically will leave my dashcam on its window mount in my car. So if you have a Li-on battery sitting in a car that is under the summer sun, you will have a bad day. I would like them to use a capacitor instead so I don’t have to worry about heat rupturing the battery on a hot day. I just don’t think batteries in dashcams are beneficial or necessary. Maybe for the parking mode but you can just hardwire them for that. They should use a capacitor since those will handle the heat much better. Capacitors aren’t that expensive either compared to batteries so maybe in the future they can use those. All in all, this is a very good dashcam for the price. It’s up there on my list of recommended dashcams. The video that’s recorded is pretty good and is in line with what’s currently on the market in this price category. I think most people will be happy with this dashcam--it’s sufficient enough to protect you without breaking the bank. I have only two recommendations to the manufacturer to improve it. Use a capacitor instead of a battery, and use a higher quality inside camera. Oh and maybe record in .MP4 instead of .MOV. Other than that, it’s near perfect!

Better and Cheaper than Rexing V1 Car Dash Cam
I bought a second vehicle and went to purchase a new dashcam for it. I bought a Rexing V1 Car Dash Cam for my other car 3 years ago to find out it is STILL $100. I wanted an identical one for simplicity sake, but was annoyed a 3 year old dash cam would still cost me the exact same amount. Decided to try this one since it was $40 cheaper and had a built in rear facing camera. For starters, the internals must be made from the same company as the Rexing. The startup picture and sound are identical as well as the menus and I don't notice a difference in quality at all. Just like the Rexing, you can't make out license plates till you are close to the vehicle in front of you. You can't read license plates at night due to the harsh reflection of light (common with most all dashcams). The rear view camera is of poor quality and useless in my truck due to the really dark tinting (look at the difference between the front window versus rear), but is a nice addition seeing as it is $40 cheaper. The dashcam only has a suction cup mount. I've had it mounted during the summer and it only fell off once (and that's without cleaning my windshield with alcohol). I plan on mounting it with tape anyways so this isn't an issue for me. It uses a USB Mini connector. I had no problem hard wiring it into my truck with a separate adapter. I've been using a 32GB micro SD card and I have over 3 weeks of footage saved. It will overwrite old footage once it gets full. All in all, I'm incredibly pleased. I think it is completely worth the price and is a bargain compared to the dated Rexing V1. I love having the peace of mind of a dashcam and easily recommend this to others.

Good camera for the price i paid
Its a mid tier camera, it was easy to setup and install. Had the camera installed for a few days and had it professionally installed so you cant see the wires hanging in the car which annoys the heck outta me. So far no issues, the video quality is good, not the greatest but definitely good enough to capture all major detail. I do enjoy the dual camera feature and its ability to rotate to alter the angle based on location it is installed. I have a 32gb sd card installed in it and its sufficient for my needs. best part is it works well at night, which is most important as its not easy to catch details during those hours. the night vision in 1080p is good and transfer quality is good as well when i transferred some of the clips to my computer. overall happy customer!

AWEOME!!!
Purchased this after buying one that was a piece of junk. Very easy set up and instructions. The picture is insanely clear!!! I love the rear camera, just wish that was also 1080P. Down side is u have to have a cigarette lighter to plug it into instead of a wire like a cell phone (the term is lost on me right now) & it doesn't have a rechargeable battery so it needs constant power to run it. That's not a deal breaker for me though because I won't leave it in my car where someone can steal it. All in all it's pretty freaking awesome!!! Now our vacation can be recorded!!

This is not the one to buy.
The camera works well but the mount was very cheaply made and broke within a week. I bought a mount intended for a phone and that has worked well but covers the controls so it has to be taken down to make any adjustments. The instructions are very poor. The are in what appears to be Russian and translated into English by someone who does not know the language well.

Ok cam.
Pretty good product. Not able to replay on the cam. You have to remove the memory card then sift through hours of video to find what you want to view. Pretty inconvenient.

Did not seem to work right.
The camera was difficult to set up and adjust, not menu-wise. It could not be dialed in easy for sensitivity etc. Also, the rear camera does not have any motion sensing. And was set in a way that made it very sensitive to light, the image was blown-out from light.

only worked for a few months
Only worked for a few months correctly, it currently only will record for 22-31 seconds at a time then it loops to a new recording , I have done factory resets and reprogramming of all settings and still does not work correctly. Very disappointed in this product.
