Having dropped my S20 Ultra many times, I finally finished the screen off, but wished to try to salvage the phone or other uses. I picked this kit due to the higher quality of the materials, the good amount of tools, and because it came with all the additional internal parts that need to be replaced with the screen.Now for those who have not taken apart a cell phone in the last year or so, you may want a professional to complete the install for you. You can save money buying this and giving it to a local cell phone repair shop and still come out on top, as Samsung will charge you way more to fix it (in the hundreds). However, if you are not faint of heart and have a little electronic experience you can try the install yourself. Be warned you will be working with razor thin ribbon connectors and wires that are easily damaged. If you take your time and are careful, then this an excellent replacement set.After about 3 to 4 hours of work I was able to return my S20 Ultra to full working condition. There is a very miniscule micro size gap in between the screen and outer frame, but it is barely noticeable. This is due to it not being an OEM screen and it being manufactured a couple of microns to short. The display was bright and vivid, and the refresh rate seems exactly the same to me as the original screen. The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five was due to the difficulty of the install. I have done dozens of screen replacements for all types of cell phones both iOS and android; but this was one of the most difficult due to some of the ribbon connectors. Also when disassembling use the minimum amount of force to separate the outer case and internals of the phone, as many of the connections have maybe only and eighth of an inch worth of movement. Good kit, take your time, it can be done.
