When I ordered these bags, I could have sworn there was a picture of a hand pump in one of the product photos. It looks like that picture has since been removed, so I can't remove any stars for not including it. I was able to get these bags to seal with the accessory vacuum of my vacuum sealer, but it was a bit finnicky. Again, an included pump would have made the sealing process more seamless.The price for these seems a bit high for just the bags sans pump, but the bags seem to be of pretty high quality. As long as you're not storing wet ingredients, I expect you can use them at least a few times before they start to wear down.

The bags are very convenient and easy to use. My handheld vacuum works good but sometimes it takes a few times before it starts vacuuming. Once it starts it is easy to finish.

This review is for the 37 piece set of 11 x 10" reusable vacuum food storage bags. They worked just fine with my manual vacuum pump. I was able to remove the air and make the contents ready for my sous vide cooker. The food inside cooked just fine and the bags maintained their vacuum throughout.While these bags are reusable depending on what is cooked and how greasy\oily it is it's more trouble than it's worth trying to get them completely cleaned so it's nice to be able to grab a pack of them. I also like that the bags are offered in a pack with all the same size as I dislike buying "value packs" where I only get a few of the size that I want and the rest don't meet my needs.

I got a Sous Vide quite some time ago, but the lack of having bags is what made the process very slow for me. Luckily inside of this set you get 37 pieces, which are honestly large enough for salmon or chicken chunks. I feel like I can fit 1-2 portion of protein when using these bags. The vacuum seal is pretty easy to use, as other have mentioned smaller handheld vacuums have worked (I'm using my zwilling vacuum sealer from my start kit and it works with the seal). The bags are reusable and easy to clean (I recommend hand washing though compared to dishwasher where you won't have any leftover gunk).

We have a food storage sealer already so I thought I’d give these a try. While they didn’t work with my sealer, they are still GREAT bags for storage.

Nice quality bags for Sous Vide cooking. I don’t have an air pump so I tried to squeeze out as much air as possible before cooking. They work great.
