Culled from over a year's worth of touring and includes photos, cast and crew bios, live footage and interviews. An in-depth look at Armor For Sleep at home, on the road, and everything in between. Over 90 minutes of exclusive footage during the initial tours following the release of "What To Do When You Are Dead."

For die-hard fans only
This is an excellent interview/diary DVD that follows Armor For Sleep as they tour for their album What To Do When You Are Dead. The video asks the band members about everything from fast food to Sidekick games. Everything except actually touring. My only complaint is that this DVD is essentially devoid of music talk or talk about playing on tour. It's a lighthearted look at everything else that goes into touring. So if listening to AFS talk about hotels sounds awesome, get this DVD.The soundtrack is phenomenal, with tracks from Circa Survive and The Receiving End Of Sirens, among others.

Amazing.....
First of All i bought for my girlfriend, im a deep fan of the gothic rock, black metal industry and i hardly like bands like these, as i took it to her house i was thinking of how lame it would be, and no the dvd inspired me in every way i thought it was an exiting show and worth watching.

Back in the day...
Once upon a time, in the alternative/emo music scene, tour dvds were king.I remember feeling so proud, being a teenager and looking at my steadily growing collection of band dvds. I felt like I had my own personal little look into what the musical life was like, and as someone who lives in an area where she can't get to concerts often, these were a blessing.Armor For Sleep, to this day, remains one of my favorite bands. This is a neat little peek into what it's like being on tour. It isn't really a concert dvd, which is what I think some people expected. This is a look at what people who live this lifestyle do when they're away from their homes all that time. Some is serious, some is funny, but altogether it's a good time. They're all just a bunch of goofballs who happen to like playing instruments in front of people. Some other favorites of the era, like The Academy Is and Hellogoodbye, also make appearances. To be honest, this is for big fans of the band, not casual listeners, but you will not regret buying it.

Armor For Sleep on tour=good times abound
This DVD is entertaining to watch, provides a good picture of what the Armor guys are like, and also gives you a good idea of what it's like to be in a touring band. I would call it a documentary, only that word is automatically associated with "boring". This DVD is not boring. Although I would say that kids who truly love Armor will get the most enjoyment out of it, I know plenty of people who aren't diehard fans that have liked watching it. The Armor guys are dorks and they have a lot of fun being dorks. They're not trying to put out this rockstar image. Touring is not all about partying, although they do their fair share. It's first and foremost about the music and also about connecting with people, both the fans and other bands. You can see why they love what they do in this DVD. The stress is apparent, but overall it seems they wouldn't want to be doing anything other than touring and making music. They all have a different kind of sense of humor and they're very easygoing guys. Even if you like Armor just a little bit this DVD is a good investment.

As Much As I Love AFS...
This DVD is not as deep as other DVD's out there. So much of the stuff is either repetative, or really really stupid. There is one scene where they spent 10 minutes hitting the drummer, Nash, and another 10 trying to order at a drive thru. Some scene's are just over done, and it seems like the clip of "Dreams to Make Believe" bridge gets played about 912 times as part of their live shows.Don't get me wrong, i love the band, but this DVD could, and should have been a whole lot better.

A good DVD to watch - even if you're not familiar with the band (since no longer existed)
This particular DVD brought me memories when I was a teenager. Although I haven't been to the band's shows (and at that time I didn't discover them until I entered my first year in college back in 2006) in my life, this DVD is pretty good. With the "Emo revival" movement gaining steam this year (2014), it's a good idea to not only to listen to Armor For Sleep's tunes, but watching the DVD will definitely travel back in time - when the band was popular in its heydays.
