This is exactly what we needed for our crafting project.

This is just a foam board, not foam core with paper on the outside, which is what is explained in the description. It seems fine if you just want foam boards for whatever, but not what I was expecting.

Not sure how it's gonna hold up- I used a spray adhesive to mount uart paper on, and the adhesive seemed to eat into the foam- my mistake- but the foam doesn't seem as rigid as it should be- but i have yet to compare to something like gator board which i think is a much smaller celled foam- I do however have several pastel paintings mounted to this foam and it is workign well- but you have to be really careful as it dents easily, and won't look good is you should happen to sell your work- however, you can perhaps paste a heavy paper on the back of the board to prevent it from denting- This foam is a little hard to cut as the cells inside are larger, and tend to not cut the cleanest- it leaves a bit of a ragged edge- but these will all be behind a frame and not noticed- over all=- i woudl recommend this if you are mostly practicing pastel painting, and want something not so expensive to mount them to

I bought this product for a project for my students based on the dimensions specified in the listing of 12" x 16.5". These dimensions are INCORRECT. The dimensions are 11-3/4 x 16.5". I needed to be able to cut this in half lengthwise into two 6" pieces and then smaller pieces from there. Now I can't do that and have to buy more. As a teacher, it's bad enough that I have to spend my own money to buy many things like this. But to have to turn around and spend more money due to incorrect product dimensions is beyond frustrating. Heads up: Sometimes size DOES matter.
