A Comedy of Nobodies: A Collection of Stories Hardcover – Unabridged, 21 May 2024

I followed Baron’s videos online for a while, so when I saw he had written a book it was a no brainer for me. Laugh out loud funny, whilst also really making you think about life in new ways. I read this in 3 days and highly recommend.

Yeah, this was an easy read. A little less profound than his instagram work. Over all enjoyable

The book was great! I read 90% of it in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed the premise. The characters can come off as off putting at times but overall they felt very human and real. There is so much nostalgia in reading this book. Even without knowing much of Harvard, every college experience felt familiar and coming from the heart. I especially liked one chapter which experimented with a few pages of email threads to a professor before getting into the bulk of the story. It was beautiful and simple.This collection does have some issues, but none which stood out as problematic. It was a quick and incredibly enjoyable read, something that pairs nicely with his videos online. I wish there was a bit more to the progression of time. Each chapter is subtitled with the month of the Fall semester, only it’s barely expounded upon and falls flat by the end. I very much enjoyed the self containment of each story, but wish there was more connecting them, if this was the overall thought.Highly rated, please go read this!
