It's been a few weeks, and one of those weeks it rained a lot. I just took these two photos five minutes ago and the statue holds the same amount of ight regardless of the amount of light provided during the time I have had it. It's level and holds still through the winds and remains unaffected by the rain. It's fun, but not too goofy to be, "un-classy." It looks really cool through my sliding glass door at night, although I will admit that it freaked me out the first couple of times I walked by! It wears it's stunna glasses at night! Super cool decoration and would highly recommend to anyone, especially as a gift!

Who doesn’t like the friendly tropical hints of Tiki style decorations around the pool or backyard during those long hot summer months? When the sun sets on this pineapple headed character, his sunglasses spring to life to shed some extra rays of brightness over your patio party.His wide toothy grin is infectious and will put smiles on your guests’ faces. He’s certainly big enough to be seen from all over the yard. In fact, to the tip of his pineapple succulent resin leaves, he stands a full 13 inches tall. He’s made of brightly painted resin and he’s very easy to operate. In fact, all you have to do is to push the on/off button to the on position and then place him out in the sun. As long as he receives a few hours of sunlight he will automatically light up when dusk arrives and he’ll stay lit for a good portion of the night.The resin construction is strong and durable. The product description promises that he will remain weather resistant and colorfast during all seasonal weather conditions. He is hand painted and has a UV-resistant coating applied.I do have one very minor negative thought about the figure, though. The hand painting around the mouth on the figure I received isn’t nearly as neat and nice as is shown on the model in the product description. The white paint of the teeth is smeared along the lips in one long section and there are a few white splatters that almost make it appear as though our Tiki has been drooling. Of course, since each one is hand painted, you probably will be luckier. Still, even with the imperfection, this Tiki guy still looks pretty cool.Overall, though, this guy looks like fun and he’s certainly going to be receiving a lot of laughs and compliments as the summer rolls on. He’s economically priced and he seems to be shouting for you to bring on the piña coladas! Party on!

This dude is hilarious. He is holding a swim ring and appears ready to hop into the pool. It makes me giggle to see that grimace…like he’s saying the water is too cold to swim in or something.This Tiki statue has a funny, slightly creepy, yet silly face when lit up at night. His sunglasses and mouth light up using a solar charged battery and sensor. He charges up in the sunshine, and the light comes on automatically at night.Honestly he looks like he’s carved from wood, although he is actually resin. This statue is going to hold up a lot better than wood because he won’t rot. The paint is vibrant and the colors well chosen.He’s a fairly large statue too and seems quite stable on his feet.This is a great Tiki with a comical, happy, tropical vibe. He’s colorful and dynamic and absolutely makes me smile. He’s an excellent value too. What a great fun gift he would be!

This little tiki thing is really fun. It is made of plastic resin and is styled to look like it's carved from bamboo or some other kind of wood. You simply set it outside and let it charge the internal battery with the rays of the sun. At night it lights up! The eyes have a hilarious glow to them. There is the little simulated "flame" on top that glows as well, but dimmer than the eyes. I placed it among some rocks near a small bush outside by our jacuzzi. It cracks me up to see the eyes staring in the dark.If you're a fan of outdoor solar accent lights, this would be great for your home tiki lounge or play area. It's just hilarious.Recommended!
