Love it! it's definitely a great start to building a social curriculum!

I order Amazon for a public school district. This must be okay to recommend b/c I didn't hear any complaints (and believe me I would have.)

This book is filled with so many helpful exercises to help me show my son how to be more social by having him do social things. Flash cards and picture books help but it's the act of getting out there with other kids and being social that brings home the message.Thanks to the author for making it a little easier.

This is a great book for anyone teaching social skills to students.

This is by far the best pragmatics book I have every purchased. It contains fantastic activities, guild-lines, and ideas on how to teach social skills to children who have deficits in that area. I love this book and I use it everyday!

Arrived with no CD.

Really great resource for small group social skill instruction. Michelle Garcia Winner has put together a thorough curriculum that truly matches up with my students' abilities and deficits. It is written in a way that makes it easy to implement and easy to adapt to ever changing groups. The one thing I would change about the book, would be to let go of the California state standards. When you're not teaching in CA, it isn't really helpful. Perhaps it could be aligned with national standards in the future, as that's where public education seems to be heading.

Am reading through the book now. I can tell that it will be a worthwhile text and curriculum to implement in my special education classroom.
