If someone knows how to open this thing, just please let me know. I tried everything. I tried twisting. I tried pulling. I tried pushing the cap. I tried pushing while you twisted. I tried twisting in both directions. I tried pulling when you twisted. I tried twisting for five minutes straight. Nothing would open this thing. I had to literally twist off the top and then just take some on my hand from the bottle. So I hope that only my bottle is defective and that is the entire reason they lost a star.You’re supposed to wet your face, then use the product and massage and rinse it off. As soon as I put it on my hands and massaged it into my face it creates almost like a lotion foam. The foam is very slight it almost looks like lotion on your face you know what I’m saying. And even feels kind of like lotion as you’re working around. so it’s not like a true cleanser - it’s like lotion and then I rinsed and it rinses extremely clean.Left my skin feeling and looking super clean even after a face full of make up. The first time I used it the true test is I use toner on a cotton round to see all the stuff that the cleaner missed. And let me tell you my cotton round is impeccably clean. Not even my eyebrow pencil stayed on my face. It got everything off my face every piece and scrap of make up. Again, my cotton around was crystal clean.I wouldn’t say it leaves my face moisturized and I wouldn’t say it leaves it squeaky clean. It’s closer to squeaky clean, but does not stop your hand kind of smoothing across it. It doesn’t feel very moisturized, but it doesn’t feel completely squeaky clean.And it smells very fresh, although kind of citrus more like citrus astringent. I really do like it and was impressed to get all my make up off without a lot of work. All I did was use my hands. Too bad my container will not open.

I really like the clean feeling on my skin after use. You know that kind of feeling. It's not greasy. Very satisfying like you went deep into your pores. I do you use a bit more than directed, then rub into my pores with warm water. It's wonderful. The shape of the container with the pump mechanism is a plus also.I would buy again.

I love the smell of this face wash, and not because it's perfumed with anything fake. It has a nice refreshing citrus scent from the Vitamin C with almost slightly herbal undertones. It comes in a nice bottle that is made of aluminum with a pump for dispensing the product, which you can reuse once the product is gone. It is a little smaller than I anticipated.The product itself is on the thin side, so be careful when dispensing it to do so in your hand. I used my fingers at first and it ran very quickly out of them. It doesn't have much lather to it, so if you're used to a soap that does that it will take a little adjusting. The product itself leaves your face feeling a little like there is oil on it, but not oily. It doesn't wash cleanly away, which is also something I had to get used to. The product does not leave skin dry and tight which is nice, and seems to lightly moisturize. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any type of irritation with this product, so it does seem to be pretty mild. I'm not sure how much it will lighten dark spots since it's not a product that is applied to the skin and left on to sink in, but I'm sure it will take a much longer use if this is going to be case.

Good luck getting the pump to work! The open/close directions on the top of the pump don't really seem to indicate anything. I just had to keep twisting and twisting until I finally found the right spot to be able to press the pump down. Once I was able to find the perfect spot, it works well. The picture shows the amount of cleanser dispensed with one pump. I find one pump to be the perfect amount to clean my face. I would suggest a better smell. The current smell smells kind of like plastic to me. Not a big deal if this was a foot wash, but when the product is being used right by your nose, a pleasant smell would be appreciated.The cleanser rinses off easily, and leaves my skin feeling smooth and tight after drying. I really like the feel. Even though my skin feels tight, I am still able to rub my moisturizer in easily.

This face wash comes in a good-sized metal (aluminum?) pump bottle that you can twist to lock, so it doesn’t leak. I apply small amount directly to my skin and then spread it with a little water so it spreads more easily. It feels a little sticky if you don’t add a little water. It has a light citrus like scent that doesn’t linger very long. The ingredient list is pretty good – aloe, vitamin C and willow bark as well as numerous other botanical ingredients. It cleanses quite well and because it exfoliates using mainly willow bark, it is pretty gentle on the skin. It hasn't caused my sensitive skin any irritation, burning, or redness.

I like the smell of this face wash and the fact that it comes in an aluminum bottle that can be reused and recycled. The face wash is quite liquid and does not produce much foam but cleans the face very well. It gives me a slight tingling feeling on the skin and after it is removed my skin feels warm, hydrated, and refreshed. The wash is neither drying nor moisturizing and has not caused any irritations. Only time will tell if it reduces fine lines and dark spots, but the ingredients are promising.

This is an easy to use face wash. Moisten your face, use one pump of this soap and wash! It rinses easily and leaves your face feeling clean after. My skin feels a bit tighter after using it too. The instructions say to follow it with a serum and moisturizer.I don’t detect the citrus scent it is said to have. It has a light scent; I wouldn’t call it citrus, I’m not sure how I’d describe it.

First off, the packaging on this product is lovely. However, I don't know that I love an aluminum container for something that is going to be on my sink. Tends to leave a ring. That being said, the cleanser itself is really nice. Texture is something close to a foaming oil. The scent is light, didn't irritate my sensitive skin. Removes my full face of makeup on its own. Overall, I like it!
