Truly wonderful work -- and now comes the but part:
The book's real dimensions are 28 x 3 x 39 cm, not 34.8 x 6.1 x 43.2 cm as described in the Product details section, I don't know where did they pull that out of ...That being said, it's a beauty and I'm happy to have had the money to buy it.

Gorgeous book! Like everything Taschen
It's a gorgeous book! I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about when saying the inner paper was bad, I think the inner paper is gorgeous and looks and feels expensive, It is true you can see a slight shade of the lettering of the page behind but that might also be because the paper is more natural and doesn't feel like plastic.The book comes inside a box with the same cover with a handle, which protects the corners perfectly.

Some bad choices
This is the first time I'm disappointed with Taschen's large format release. It's beautifull selection, beaultifully printed... BUT... It's printed on structured paper. That I can almost live with. But the paper is too thin and transparent. Under EVERY picture you can see text printed o the other side. And that pretty much ruins the experience. I'm really surprised they decided to go with that choice after initial test runs, which I'm sure they had. In conclusion, if I had seen it in bookstore, I wouldn't buy it. It's still nice, but I'd rather wait for some other release.
