this is the first one of several of these I have ordered - from a few different suppliers - the whistle is loud and easy to use - however it sticks out like a fence post ready to snag on anything and everything that comes along - likewise for the compass - they both need to be more integrated into the housing somehow - in addition, the housing itself needs to be smaller & maybe even made of leather in order to have a more comfortable product overall - the paracord is nice but very stiff (from being new) - the knife blade is good but can be very tricky when putting back into the holster - make sure you hear a high pitched "click" to know that it is locked in place - overall not bad for the money (9.99) however with a little work this item could be great -
