Quest Nutrition's mission is to revolutionize food and make clean eating fun! Quest Bars were created from a simple idea: Food should taste as good as it is good for you. QUEST NUTRITION Founded in 2010, a small group of wellness enthusiasts gathered around a kitchen with a vision for a NEW kind of protein bar that they actually wanted to eat. They knew they weren’t the only ones in need of a product that doesn’t compromise. Others were looking for a way to cheat clean, and it wasn’t out there. So Quest decided to make it. Not just for them, but for everyone who wants to eat better and enjoy every bite. ROLLING PINS AND HAND-HELD KNIVES After several months huddled around Quest Creator Shannon Penna, slowly but surely Quest was able to learn what works and what doesn’t. Finally, they got to the point where the bars were delicious and nutritious enough to sell. Made with rolling pins and hand-held knives, Quest propelled forward by a clear goal to change lives. FLAVORS FOR EVERYONE What started out as a brand that had two flavors, Quest Nutrition how has over 20 unique flavors and bars that are made for everyone. Vanilla Almond Crunch and Peanut Butter Supreme have been around since the creation of Quest, with new flavors added in the years following to expand their already delicious flavors!

Double Chocolate/Chip Flavor - Beware!
I have been getting this brand - Quest - for 6 months or so because of the amino acid profile and 20 grams of protein per bar. The double chocolate-chocolate chip flavor was always pretty good, but the bars in the last box I received were disgusting.Too much L-methionine was added to the blend in these, lending a repulsive fishy taste and even worse aftertaste to the bars, one completely incompatible with chocolate or anything not complemented by the aroma of {dead} fish. I tried a couple of bites from 3 of the 11 remaining bars with the same results. But flavor is only one potential problem. There is another issue consistent with all the flavors of this brand, and that is the packaging focus on the protein in these bars at the expense of the fiber, the amount of which isn't mentioned on the package face, only in the list of ingredients on the back, and the fiber content is never easy to find.Unless you have IBS, are severely impacted or perpetually constipated from opioid use, for example, 14 grams of fiber (50% of RDA) is simply too much, particularly if you enjoy eating the bars like a snack, thinking you're getting all this good protein, not realizing that all that fiber will present issues you hadn't counted on.If you're not suffering from something related to fiber deficiency, don't consume more than one bar per day. In fact, if you're just starting to consume protein bars - for the protein - you might want to consider a brand limited to 1 to 4 grams of fiber (four at most). It didn't occur to me right away that these and a few other brands marketed as "protein" bars have four [4] to five [5] times the amount of fiber as a serving of Metamucil, but if you're reading this, you have been warned. If you're already having aforementioned "excessive fiber consumption" problems and didn't know what was/is causing them, now you do.Amazon sells bars that contain what the package claims - always check the ingredients list - and you can also buy protein powder made with WHEY. Plant based protein products do not contain amino acid proteins in the proportions best for energy, muscle growth, prevention of muscle damage and pain, reducing the percentage of body fat, etc. If that's what you're looking for, search "whey protein bars" and "whey protein powder" and make cretain the label doesn't say "plant based" or "seaweed" or "ocean" proteins.

Omg, finally healthy heaven
This caramel chocolate protein bar is the absolute best! The cookie dough is pretty decent. The raspberry chocolate is just okay. The chocolate dipped cookie dough looks way better than it tastes. The dipped chocolate has a weird flavor. This caramel one doesn't look like the outside picture, no idea why they have that, so dont be fooled. But omg...the taste makes you think you're cheating and eating 600 calories. I'm down 17 lbs because I quit eating crap sugar and instead if I crave something I'll either have a chocolate protein shake with unsweetened almond milk or one of these. Usually 1/2 will fill me up and I'll eat the rest later or the next day. It's so good! The Carmel pieces are stretchy just like you would imagine. I put the caramel flavor on auto ship.

Feels a little stale compared to store bought.
Darker in color, harder, and a bit squished or thinner compared to store bought. Its not bad, its fine. Its just you can tell if you taste them side by side.Maybe this is just from shipping or the heat or something. Expiration dates seem the same as from the store so I don't know. These are cheaper than in the store, but it doesn't taste as fresh.

Choc chip cookie dough variety has a really good taste...for me, at least
The first bar out of the box was a tad dry and crumbly, indicating that it wasn't that fresh, but the rest were fine. I ate that first one anyway, though, and it was still pretty dang yummy. I love the taste, and I NEED the protein (not a big meat eater). Quest bars are sold individually in stores, but they're way more expensive than ordering by the box from Amazon. The flavor and chewy texture are very satisfying. I have quite a sweet tooth, but cannot have sugar, and this product does it for me. However, my daughter says she doesn't care for it, so there's that. I guess it's not for everyone, but I'm glad I found this flavor of Quest bars. I do NOT care for the other flavors.

its really good when on keto or working out.
I used these when I was on keto; they saved my life as they were quick, easy meals that tasted great for any time of the day. Also taking them out of the wrapper and, heating them in a microwave makes them taste even better.

Impossible to beat.
I've gone through a pile of different protein and fiber meal supplements- some bars some powders, etc.Nothing comes close to this. They seem expensive but try getting the same Protein and Fiber elsewhere without eating a pile of food or paying twice as much. Also, the Cookies and Cream and Cookie Dough versions both taste great.

Quest nutrition bar
Was pretty fresh , very delicious for a nutrition bar. But do your research as I knew very little about these kind of bars , and I'm on a diet. Not thinking on a full stomach o was eating them , causing me to be bloated with gas .

Tastes pretty good
I received my order and was pleased that it contained the proper amount. Others complained they were short. I find the quality quite good and as for taste well I didn’t expect it to taste like a home made brownie but it wasn’t bad. Not a chemical or strong vitamin taste just a chewy chocolate like flavor. Your not gonna feel full after eating one of these but it’s a good small meal replacement with good ingredients that will give you enough energy till your next bar or meal. I will reorder.

Pricey & too much sweetener but ok tasting
I bought these for a hiking trip abroad so needed something that wouldn’t melt and they did deliver on that front. However, I’ve bought Quest bars in the past but the price of these was higher than I’ve ever paid.I also think there’s more sweetener in them than there used to be, it’s crazy to use so many different types of sugar and they are very sweet tasting as a result so I couldn’t stomach them every day of the trip. We also found they sometimes caused minor stomach upset.I wouldn’t buy them again due to the cost and expanding ingredient list, there are better options out there these days.

Sent gone off product
Check the date before you eat it, I’ve had these bars numerous times before and love them. The first bar from the box I bought on Amazon was much harder and tasted a lot more like cheap protein than usual - checked the date after I finished it 22/MA/05 yeah it was probably safe to eat but best before dates are there for a reason and this tasted way past it’s best.

Horrible protein taste
I used to love quest bars years ago, especially the brownie flavour. However, they have clearly changed the taste completely. It takes artificial to a whole other level! Such a disappointment, had 2 of them but cannot stomach the rest of the pack. For someone who really doesn't mind that typical protein taste though, it would be good to buy and serves the purpose of a healthy low calorie snack.

Not my taste...
Well I bought this specific product as my friend said 'it is so delicious like a real chocolate brownie'. It might set my expectation too high as I love choco brownies, but this is nothing near to it. It is horrible compared with anything I would call delicious. Reading what it contains, I rather have a few squares of real choco. But I am not using protein shakes and even though I really wanted to give this a go, I will not be having these again. But have to say my friend was quite happy as I gave her the entire box, so as a present it was perfect....
