Aduro 40W 6-Port USB Desktop Charging Station Hub Wall Charger for iPhone iPad Tablets Smartphones with Smart Flow (Red)

I've had this power adapter since August with no issues and now of course the return/refund window is now closed. Everything was completely fine, it charged my things well and I had no problems. Until today. I'm working from home and I started smelling burning plastic and I'm trying to find the source. My boyfriend confirmed that he could also smell the burning scent and we started to unplug the devices from the wall (my laptop and the adapter). Nothing felt hot at the base of the adapter but I unplugged it and that's when I saw that it had singed two of my usb charging cables AND BURNED A HOLE INTO MY CARPET!! This could've easily resulted in an electrical fire....

This is the second USB charging hub I have purchased in 2 years. My first one is currently used for work and is still working, has 3.0 and keeps multiple tablets and phones charged without any issues. I read almost all of the reviews before purchasing, and noticed quite a few had similar issues. After receiving this one for my home use, I plugged it in and hooked a couple phones to it. The android phone screen would come on, then shut off, and come on again as if the cable was loose. I checked the cable and found it to be really hot, burning my finger. The iPhone was the same way, as were the cables. I have never had a charging cable be so hot that it would burn my finger. I immediately unplugged all the phones from the charging cords, and the USB cords from the hub itself. This hub was really hot to the touch so I unplugged it from the wall. Every connection point was burning hot. Luckily this was sitting on a table and not near anything that could potentially catch fire. My charging cords are still good, but this unit will be sent back as I do not trust it. Imagine leaving this overnight, like most people do, and waking up to a burned cable or destroyed phone/tablet. Overall I do not recommend this product.

I would have given this product 5 stars when I received it in mid-October. However, two months later and it just exploded! It severed the cord into two pieces! I went to plug in an iPhone charger and it pop loudly and sparks flew. I had to stomp them out on my rug!! I think it should have lasted longer than 2 months. We have never had more than 4 devices plugged in at one time and it supposedly charges 6. Scary! I’ve never had a product do anything like this. I would not buy this product.

Extremely dangerous piece of crap product made in China.... it caught on fire and thank goodness I was home to unplug it... the nerve of amazon to ask me to write a review on a product that could’ve burnt my house down. Ooh ps it destroyed my apple iPhone charging cord... thankfully they covered that and refunded me for this garbage. Hope this review helps others not buy it... you’ve been warned.

I really enjoy this tower charger. 1. It's pretty. 😁 2. I could get rid of the extension cord I had to use previously and all the bulky charger parts. I knocked off 1 star because the charging speed is half as fast as my normal Galaxy charger.*Edited to add*4 months in and it does not work anymore. Just stopped charging yesterday. Super disappointed.

I’ve lived with this charger for about 2 weeks now.In general I am very happy with it. I usually only have to charge two things at a time but there are rare times that I might have to charge as many as 5. This is brilliant for that purpose.I really like that I can leave my headphone/kindle charger cable plugged in and just use it when I need to (once every third night or so) rather than having to swap out a charger and or cable of something else to charge those devices as I did in the past.I have not rigorously testing this (using timers etc) but it seems to me to charge say my iPhone 7+ and iPad mini 5 at the same rate as their included chargers. Ditto for my Apple Watch 5.The only complaint that I (well my wife if I am being honest) have is that at least with the white version I got the light that indicates it is getting power is rather bright. I am tempted to open up the case and cut one of the legs of the LED . . . or to place several layers of electrical tape over the LED. Again the brightness of the light is not an issue for me but it is for my spouse. If I were to suggest an improvement it would be to simply include a switch which allows the user to turn the LED off.I would also suggest that if you are sensitive to light at night that you might want to choose one of the darker colors or look for a different device.

I purchased this item in just before Christmas in an effort to eliminate the many chargers I've been using---had an outlet strip full of them. I read the specs and reviews on this charger and decided to give it a shot. The red color sold me since I am a huge fan of this color and we use a lot of it in our home. Received it on December 22 and connected it right away. I have been using it for three weeks now on a daily basis and so far everything is good. There are no identifications on the port as to the rating for that particular port but the instructions state that it will automatically select the proper charging rate for the connected device, so I can live with that. I use the charger for several IOS devices as well as a few Android devices and each charges with no problems, even when multiple devices are charging at the same time. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the unit is so light, as noted by other reviewers, and it does tend to move around a lot. Would be nice if the base was weighted somewhat to give it more stability. Time will tell how well it holds up but so far I am pleased and would buy it again. If it does fail at a later date I will update this review.

My only real grievance with this so far is that it is so darned light-weight! What is the point of the design being stood upright when the weight of a couple cables will topple this thing easy.** It is not super fast charging, but I think that is a good thing. I bought a nice sturdy charger after this one that charges super fast but that is really bad for the battery as devices charged with it will last a significantly less time. I believe that charging too fast with LIPO batteries will permanently decrease the life of a battery as well.. Sooo, this is not my preferred charger for my daily phone

Another awful item from Amazon. Three of the six inputs don’t even work. What a massive waste of money. The lack of quality is astounding. I don’t know why I even order things from Amazon anymore. Everything is just complete garbage.

I bought this for my family of 5 because we have so many devices. I brought it with me to a hotel and plugged in devices at bedtime. After 3 hours of charging I was getting ready to go to sleep and thought I would make sure it wasn’t getting hot. It was. So hot that I was worried about sleeping with it plugged in because it may have gotten hotter.

This seemed to work well, until yesterday when it melted a device that was plugged into it along with the USB cord. It was the only thing plugged in at the time, thank goodness.

The product arrived very quickly and is working well. It is made of light plastic but still has enough weight to allow one to easily plug in the cables. We have simultaneously charged two iPads, an Apple phone, and an Android phone without difficulty.Just as an aside, and nothing to do with functionality, the red color of the charger in the pictures appears to be more vibrant than what is actually delivered. We found the red unit has more of an orange tint mixed with red, it still looks good.I have included a comparison picture of a red coffee filter vs the red charger :)

I bought two of these, one for our kitchen and another for the office. They’re fantastic, it has a pleasing form factor and doesn’t look out of place. The best part is that it’s cut down on the number of plugs and cables laying all over the kitchen counter top, way cleaner look.
