Pretty tasty
I decided to get these for hiking, or travel never hurts to have some rations. They did not come stocked like the issue ones, at least from when I served (93-96). The entrée heated well had good flavor (Jalapeno Curry Beef) basically like a spicy stew, better than canned, not as good as fresh off the stove. The tortillas were cute, but functioned well, toasted corn snack was good. Drink power was ok, but I did add into a larger cup than called for. The cookies I did not get, my son had those and they were gone so assume they were acceptable. I actually added the salt which I was surprised, usually I use little if any additional salt. Overall pretty good, bulky like all MRE's, if I were hiking I would field strip them just for convenience.

Excellent!
MREs came with heaters and production date was very recent (December 2018). Excellent!I never knew a company could make such delicious MREs! I even shared a few with my 7 year old nephew and sister-in-law, and they loved it. The heaters got really hot - really, really hot! - and warmed up my entrees really well. The extras - like cookies, crackers, peanut butters, and etc, were great. Everything was packaged so nice and tight. The whole meal provided a pleasant eating experience. I really enjoyed them.I highly recommend these MREs. It doesn't matter if it's a civilian company. I prefer these over the military, because you have no idea where those MREs have been rotated through. It might have spent 6 months in a 100 degree desert. Who knows.

A pretty good product
I'll begin with if your expecting military MREs this isn't the product for you. These are civilian survival rations, now Some of the selections aren't what you would expect from something marked as the main course such as sausage gravy, there isn't anything wrong with that, its a very filling meal, its just not a traditional main course. Now on to the order itself, the meals arrived promptly, within 4 days of my order in fact, the box was glue sealed and taped, all the meals were vacuum packed with absolutely no holes in any of the bags and all of them were marked 9/13 which is extremely fresh, the meals were smaller than I expected but have some experience with military MREs I know a lot of the bag is empty space and random stuff I wouldn't eat anyway, besides these are the perfect size to go in my rig bag so I can't complain, overall I'd say this was a very good purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

Food For Thought
Bought these to have on hand in the event that the SHTF. I don't know if that will happen or not but at least I'll be prepared. As far as how they taste, probably like their military conterparts. Maybe not so good but at least they supply the proper amount of calories.

Decieving...Its OK...I guess!
I thought I was getting 12 dinner entrees. If you go to a restaurant and look though the menu, you will see a few sections. 1 is called entrees. Things you will not find are Oatmeal( in witch I got 2 of in this case)and Biscuits and gravy(witch is not bad, but not an entree I got 2 of those also). So 4 out of 12 or 1/3 of this case is breakfast items. Not entrees to me. Plus in the discription they did not say anything about Oatmeal or Biscuits and gravy. I'm not saying this product is bad just not totally what I was expecting.
