Kate Blanc Cosmetics Castor Oil with Rosemary for Hair Growth & Dry Scalp Relief (2oz), and Scalp Massager to Promote Thicker Hair

I've individually used castor & rosemary oils and love that this is a combo. The bottle smells strongly of rosemary so you know it's the real deal (you could smell it in the packaging itself, and it hadn't leaked). The jojoba thins the two out so the oil isn't sticky and spreads easily. It sinks in fast. The castor & jojoba oils are organic. It doesn't say whether the castor is cold-pressed & hexane free, but the Kate Blanc castor oil-only product is, so I'm assuming yes?I used it all over my scalp before showering, leaving it on an hour before easily shampooing it out. I've also dabbed a small amt on my scalp in a few spots before bed (it made the hair look greasy but it was fine in the morning). The head massager is also lovely - it's stiff but not so stiff that it hurts, and the "bristles" are just the right length to get through my hair but not tangle. Lastly, all of this is for a fantastic price. So I don't know what there's not to love! Well, ok maybe two small things - the rosemary smell does linger after the oil is absorbed, so you really need to like rosemary smell if you have a strong nose as I do; the applicator is a thick dropper, not a thin pipette, so it's not really made for putting directly onto your scalp. I may switch to an eye dropper with a thin tip so I can better target my scalp without getting my hair as oily.

This is a high quality oil blend with organic castor oil, organic jojoba oil, and rosemary essential oil. The fresh herbal scent of the rosemary is wonderful.Castor oil is a very thick sticky oil so the addition of the jojoba makes this a little thinner, and easier to work with.I tried adding a couple of drops to the scalp at the top where I get more hair loss. Even though I was careful by putting my head upside down so as to mainly get this on the scalp and not the hair this still made my hair soon look oily.Next, I tried adding some to my hair in the shower and letting it soak in while I finished showering and then rinsed it out at the end. But that castor oil doesn't rinse out too well. Now that my hair is dried I feel like there is stuff on my hair and it doesn't feel completely clean.It seems like if I put a little on my scalp before shampooing this wouldn't do much good since it's on for such a short period of time. I am considering putting a couple of drops on my scalp before bed and then washing my hair in the morning. That could work better. But, so far, this isn't the best for my hair. 3 stars for that.5 stars for the other ways I decided to use this oil when it didn't work the best for my hair. I used it as a facial serum and it's great for my dry skin and feels so good. I also used a dropper full and rubbed it into my sore back and I love it for that.I love the scalp massager that is included! I have tried a couple of these before and didn't like them because they either were too soft and didn't reach through the hair to the scalp, or they were too hard and hurt. This one is literally perfect! It's so comfortable to use and gets through for a lovely scalp massage. I used it when I had shampoo in my hair.

I use this oil on my scalp after shampooing and conditioning my hair in between braid installs. I don't care for the smell but it feels good on my scalp. Time will tell if it helps with growth.

I love to use this brand and have used many of their products which were all good. This castor oil with rosemary is great for hair as both the ingredients are known to help get stronger shinier hair with less hairball and stronger manageable hair with regular use. I apply this an hour before I shower and some times sue a heat wrap to let the oil soak. After washing my hair feels soft and shiny. It helps a lot with itchy flaky scalp too and massaging this oil into the scalp is very soothing and relaxing.

Castor and rosemary oil may not be the sexiest fragrance, but I can’t argue with the results. The oil is easy to apply and with the little scalp massager I was able to get it spread across the scalp pretty easily. After using it for a little under a month, I can’t say that I see evidence of new hair growth. However, my scalp is prone to flaking and there’s been virtually none of that in the last few weeks, and itchiness is virtually gone.I recommend using this as an overnight treatment so that your hair won’t look too oily or greasy at the roots during the day.

Only got to use it twice so far since I just got it and it's alright.I gotta keep up with the consistency to see if it'll help my hair grow back and thicken.. for some reason my hair as been falling out in a little chunks to the point that you can see my scalp.Kinda terrified but it's completely out of the blue. I'll update this in the future with more persistent usages to let you know how it goes! But so far I have no complaints. I also love that this came with a scalp massager to help get the product in !
