My 16-year-old cat was so dehydrated at one point where we had to hook him up to an IV to be able to hydrate.Obviously using an IV wasn't ideal, and then I found these.There is a decent amount of powder in each packet, so I've been giving him a packet a day, spread out throughout the day.I can tell that he is hydrated as his nictitating membrane is no longer showing like it used to as that is an indication he's dehydrated.He also appears to have a bit more energy.I will be buying again and plan to keep mixing in with his food as I truly believe it helps my senior sweetie live longer. 😻

My cat wouldn't get into it but he forgot that he's a rescue because he is a prince now..but I passed it on to the rescue and their dehydrated cats use it so win win.

Probably has saved me multiple expensive vet bills by increasing their intake of this and when one kitty had a bit of blood in pee (discovered on a Friday night when vet closed for weekend) I increased her intake of this product and added extra water to the freeze dried salmon pate I make them and topped it with squeezable salmon for taste and put a microfiber cloth dipped in silver hydrosol where she parks her junk and she was better than ever when the vet finally opened. Products saved me a expensive vet bill at least once that I know of…cats are fantastic at hiding illnesses and so products like this provide peace of mind and I am grateful because I have tried VARIOUS probiotics etc and my cats rejected them ALL except for this one…raised my cats on Petralyte mixed in ground up freeze dried salmon (ninja express chop works great for this) with a bit of water to make pate, turned them into adorable healthy giants who are extremely obedient and loving to the human who makes the Petralyte freeze dried Salmon Pate! My fur babies are so picky that I dread the thought of this supplement being discontinued because I tried a list of other supplements and nutrition saves on emergency vet bills, especially if your cats are picky eaters yet still like to occasionally sample random stuff on the floor or sink! lol! They puke whatever they were not supposed to eat up, I feed them their Petralyte pate and then they are fine. They also had a STUBBORN care of tape worms from their time living off lizards, I kept having to deworm the entire family till Petralyte pate cleared it up in them FINALLY!

My cats didn't like it, I had high expectations for this. But didn't work

So glad I discovered this product! My cats are a bit older and I noticed they weren't drinking as much water as they had been. Petralyte has been a lifesaver! My cats are enjoying a yummy treat and staying well-hydrated at the same time. The flavor must be delicious because both of my cats seem to really enjoy the packets (I just add the packs to their daily food bowls). I love that it's all-natural and does not upset their tummies like other products and supplements I've tried in the past. Also, I absolutely love that the product is made in the US and that for every item purchased, Petralyte donates to help pets in need. What a wonderful way to give back and support pets! I am now a loyal Petralyte customer.

I purchased this for my old cat who had chronic kidney failure and needed to keep her electrolytes in balance. She seemed to enjoy the taste and I even saw an improvement in her energy. When I went to reorder it, it was not available anywhere so I tried other brands. She did not like those and would not drink her water. I would reorder this product but since the cat I needed it for has since passed (not due to the availability of the product, it was an inevitability) I don’t need this for my younger cat. Definitely a great buy when it's available.
