Convenient and environmentally friendly!
The Moonygreen storage bags work great. They keep food fresh dry, in fridge or freezer.

READ MORE ABOUT COMPOSTABILITY
These bags are very durable and sturdy. Buyers should know they are opaque. You cannot see your ingredients clearly. If you don't care about that, this is a good bag. However, most importantly, one should question the resources for composting these bags: commercial or industrial composting only? Or compostable in your backyard compost pile? Unfortunately, I don't think the packaging industry has developed the ideal 'plastic' bag. We all hate them, but what's the alternative? We're not there yet folks.

Way to go green
These work just fine in fridge, freezer, on counter, and even cleaning them out for reuse. Good price. Easy on your conscience when you do dispose of them.

Good durability for a compostable bag
These compostable bags feel much more durable than I expected, I brought some food and plastic utensils in one out on a boating trip, and it was completely intact by the end of the day, no ripping or breaking down. However, I do kind of doubt these would actually compost in my backyard... But they're definitely better than regular plastic bags, so I'm happy with them.

Large, food graded zip lock
Items came in bag well packed. Received all quantities.Zip lock bag is large in size, true 1 gallon, seal is perfect and pretty sturdy. Open and closed smoothly. Ziplock is pretty sturdy too. It's not clear though, have a tempered glass look. So items inside can't be seem clearly. Came with a box which is great for storing. Unsure about biodegradable features, did not dispose any of them yet.Overall I am 100% satisfied and will recommend this.

nice bags, a bit pricey but appropriate for a "greener" item
These are nice zippered freezer bags and close easily enough. I like that they have this soft feel. They are opaque, so do take note if this is a problem for you. I personally won't be composting this bag, but it is nice to know this is an option. I am skeptical on how well this will work.

well made
Nice sized bags that seem sturdy and durable. There's a place for you to write on it to specify the date and what's inside. Note that it states its for industrial composting only, so don't expect to put this in you local garden composting area.

Not true freezer or heavy duty grade bags and has an expiration date and questionable compostability
Quality of bag seems like storage bags, not freezer or heavy duty grade even though they can be used in freezer. I may not use them for heavier duty use, liquids, or marinading meat but fine to use for storing dry goods, fruit and veggies. Interestingly also that the product listing here mentions freezer bag, but the box packaging itself does not refer to freezer. Also, an important thing to note is the box indicates these bags should be used within 8 months after purchase. So 8 months after opening? It has no listed manufacture date, so what if it sat in warehouse storage for over 8 months? The bags could become defective? So even at their prime, these bags may degrade over time compared to non-compostable bags I assume or compared to other brands of compostable bags. Also regarding composting, printed on the bag it says (TUV) Austria (OK) certified for backyard composting, but BPI (US?) certified only for commercial facility composting. Looking up the Austria info, the TUV OK composting certification has a HOME vs INDUSTRIAL version of certification, and the difference is in the composting heat temperature where industrial one is at temperatures of 55 to 60 degrees celsius whereas home composting is at much lower temperatures (range not given). So I guess it needs high heat to decompose for composting. Maybe at home make use of dehydrator, heat gun, smoker, etc. to induce heat that is lacking to help it compost faster/better. So for composting at home, seems like it would work best in hot summers (save up the used bags for the summer).
